I cannot dance. Like, at all. Some people have two left feet, as the saying goes, and that definitely applies to me. I have never been one to shake my booty on the dance floor, because I would probably trip and fall, knocking everyone over in some odd, domino effect. How mortifying would that be?! I can picture it now, and folks, it's not pretty. In fact, the only time I have ever "danced", and I will use that term very, very loosely was when I was either at the pub and had a couple drinks to loosen up, or when I had to, like at weddings. Otherwise, if there is a dance floor in sight, I will be the quiet girl shyly hiding in the corner. Yep. That one. The one hiding awkwardly, wishing a hole would open up in the floor and swallow her. It seems that a lot of my friends have taken up the dance phenomenon/workout known as Zumba. Not a day goes by that I don't see numerous status updates talking about how they rocked it at their Zumba classes. I have to admit, it makes me a bit jealous, and I am in total awe of them. I would love, love, LOVE to hop on board the Zumba train, but I am afraid that I would be thrown out for getting it all horribly wrong. Or worse, everyone would laugh at me. So I will sit back and enjoy their accomplishments, and curse my two left feet. And I will secretly be wishing I could do moves like in this video...In the dance number, a woman's routine yoga workout in a crowded city park is transformed into a liberating, magical dance number in luxurious rainforest after taking a sip of resource Natural Spring Water. "Electrobatique--An Enchanting Discovery," is an original dance performance featuring tons of fun water effects, aerial choreography and acrobatic dance by AiRealistic, an aerial theater company with roots in Cirque du Soleil and Le Reve. There are moves you'll never see me doing!
