August is Back to School—Are you ready?!
The best way to send the kids off to school is with healthy snacks from New Zealand to put a smile on their faces! Starting with toothpaste made specially for kids and Manuka Honey soap to clean up the stains and dirt! Then for lunch or snack time there’s honey sticks, lollipops, crisps and honey caramels for a special healthy treat! Pacific Resources International has been delivering Manuka Honey beauty and health products to Americans for over 25 years. (This includes candy and treats!) Manuka is the gold standard for honey and is produced exclusively in New Zealand from bees and flowers that are environmentally protected. Enjoy these safe and soothing products every day and feel great using them!
The Classic Salted Manuka Honey Caramels are a delicious treat. I am already a fan of caramels in general, and the addition of pure, Manuka Honey makes these extra special. I've hidden these babies from the children, since I just can't bear to share them. They're that good!
The Strawberry Lollipops are perfect for children who may not like the idea of cough syrup or lozenges. They are kid-friendly mainly because they're on a stick. Let's face it: Kids like things on sticks. These are not only delicious, they will also help soothe sore throats and help to promote a healthy immune system.
Proper Crisps knows you deserve real food. You shouldn’t have to settle for over-processed, artificially flavored potato chips, you're worthy of crisps without compromise! And that’s exactly what they deliver at Proper Crisps. There’s a reason they're the fastest growing snack company in New Zealand. Flavors: Rosemary & Thyme, Smoked Paprika, Sea S alt, Apple Cider Vinegar, and
Kumara.
A sweet way for healthy energy and to boost the immune system. Manuka honey is known as the healing honey and is used worldwide for its special properties only found in Manuka honey. These Honey Sticks are safe for children of all ages.
In addition to snacks, PRI also offers great hygiene items that are perfect for the whole family! This handcrafted, moisturizing soap brings together the healing power of Manuka Honey, nourishing Botanical Oils and all natural New Zealand solar dried sea salt to bring out the best in your skin. Red Seal Kids Toothpaste is a natural toothpaste that’s safer for young children to swallow when they brush. Free from sodium lauryl sulphate, fluoride, parabens, and other harsh chemicals. Naturally flavored and sweetened. Fresh, peach and banana ‘bubblegum’ flavor. Caution: always supervise your children when they are cleaning their teeth. This toothpaste contains: Calcium Carbonate, purified Water, Sorbitol, Glycerin, Lauryl Glucoside, Silica, Cellulose Gum, Stevia Rebaudiana Extract, Spearmint Oil, Peppermint Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Menthol, Natural Fruit Flavors (Peach, Banana) Totarol (Podocarpus Totara Extract). My best tip is to prep as much as possible before going to bed (pack lunches, set up coffee maker, backpacks packed....) so that the morning is a little less stressful.

I have always found it helpful to buy extra school supplies during the sales and keep them in the closet for use throughout the year.

Do your shopping throughout the year and summer so that it doesn't all need to be done at the last minute when everything is sold out!

My best tip for back to school is to start getting kids to bed earlier a week before school starts so they're used to it to be able to get up early. Also, have them choose their outfits the night before and lay it out.

Make sure your kids get enough sleep & eat a good breakfast before school. Tired or hungry kids do not focus well in school.
