***Disclosure: I have received information and products from McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc., the makers of TYLENOL®. The opinions stated are my own. This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks.*** ![]() Recently, my entire household was sick. And I don't mean just a few little sniffles sick...I mean losing sleep, hacking up a lung, and wheezing in harmony like we were in some odd sort of sicky-choir. I can handle being sick, although it's definitely challenging when I have 2 toddlers and a teen to care for. But what really kills me is seeing my babies suffer. Getting sick makes them absolutely miserable and wipes the sweet smiles right off of their faces. I wish it were in my power to wave a magic wand and just make everything all better for my little ones. Thankfully, our illness only lasted about a week. I still felt icky, but I knew my little ones were on the mend when they started playing again, as well as sleeping the night through. (They had been awake most nights because the cold seemed to intensify whenever they'd lay down.) And then I knew it was in fact all better when my 2 year old, Xander, walked up to me all decked out in an Eeyore costume, holding our kitten, Havarti. This cat is really a good sport! I’m SMILING IT FORWARD™ because there is nothing cuter than a little boy and his kitty. And of course, if he is dressed up like Eeyore, it's even more adorable.
Speaking of SMILING IT FORWARD™, TYLENOL® has teamed up with Children's Health Fund to bring quality health care to children who may not have easy access to doctors. Every child deserves to have that "feel better" smile, and TYLENOL® is dedicated to making that happen. With 50 mobile medical offices that visit schools, community centers, and shelters, Children's Health Fund offers doctor's visits to needy children nationwide. Such a great initiative, don't you agree? How can YOU help make a difference? It's really easy. If you're a parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle, I am sure you have about a zillion heart-melting photos of the littles in your life. Chances are, they're right on your computer already. Well, you can use these awesome photos for a good cause by sharing them on the TYLENOL® SMILING IT FORWARD™ website. Now, until mid-January, moms across the country can join in by sharing their own smiles at SmilingItForward.com, triggering TYLENOL® to make a $1 donation to Children’s Health Fund, up to $100,000, helping to ensure a doctor's visit is always within reach for children in need. Use the hashtag #SmilingItForward when sharing on social media sites to help spread the word about this amazing campaign! Fun fact: The spokesperson for this amazing initiative is none other than Alyson Hannigan from How I Met Your Mother. How cool is that?! I'm SMILING IT FORWARD™, and I hope you will, too! Every child deserves to be happy and healthy. Let's make this happen, and let's see those beautiful smiles! Between September 17, 2013 and January 31, 2014, the makers of TYLENOL® will make a $1 donation to Children’s Health Fund for every photo approved & shared on SmilingItForward.com , with a minimum donation of $75,000 and maximum donation of $100,000. Restrictions apply. For more information, visit SmilingItForward.com . For information about Children’s Health Fund, visit ChildrensHealthFund.org.
