Have you ever heard of Baobab Oil? Don't feel bad...I hadn't either until quite recently. Baobab Oil is cultivated from the Baobab tree, which is native to Africa. These trees are often referred to as the "Tree of Life". The fruit of the Baobab Tree has little pods which house seeds, which is where Baobab Oil comes from.

Baobab Oil is much-coveted in the natural beauty world because it's rich in Vitamins A, E, D, and F, which are quite moisturizing and help to repair damaged cells. It is also a great source of Omega fatty acids, which help protect skin and hair from free-radicals that we're exposed to every day.

If you're curious about Baobab Oil, the folks at Sienna Naturals has introduced an amazing collection of personal care products that feature this "miracle oil".

About Sienna Naturals :

Sienna Naturals is a company that specializes in natural, effective personal care products for women of color and those with texturized hair. These products use only the highest quality ingredients like Baobab Oil, Shea Butter, and Coconut Oil, just to name a few. These natural ingredients are amazingly nourishing and gentle on the skin and hair.

Check out this quick video to learn more about Sienna Naturals and their commitment to quality:

My Thoughts:

I received a nice assortment of Sienna Naturals Baobab Oil Moisturizing Collection products to check out for myself. No, I am not a woman of color, but I am a natural beauty product enthusiast, and I do have color-treated hair that is prone to dryness.

I absolutely love the shampoo and the leave-in conditioner. They are fabulous! My hair is left feeling clean and incredibly soft. Since I don't have ethnic hair or a dryer scalp, I use only a very tiny amount of the conditioner, and it's just perfect. Seriously, a little goes a long way, and it definitely adds some shine and softness to my hair.

But my favorite product from this collection would have to be the the Moisturizing Body Cream. This stuff is AMAZING. It's very rich and creamy, and has a delightful, clean scent that's not too overpowering. This reminds me more of a body butter, and is wonderful for dry, parched skin. I tend to get dry patches on my ankles, knees, and elbows. This cream works wonders and leaves even my problem areas super-soft and velvety to the touch.

This body cream contains skin-nourishing ingredients like Baobab Oil, Shea Butter, Grape Seed Oil, and Natural Vitamin E. These are known to improve skin elasticity as well as be intensely moisturizing. This is definitely a winning combination of natural, gentle ingredients.

One thing I noticed about all of these products is that they do not have any greasy or oily residue. They seem to absorb quickly, leaving hair and skin soft, hydrated, and residue-free.

Overall, I am quite impressed by the Baobab Oil Moisturizing Collection from Sienna Naturals. These products are so luxurious and definitely leave the hair and skin soft, quenched, and beautiful. Plus, these products aren't full of a million chemicals, and I definitely feel good about that. So if you're a woman of color, a mother of a mixed baby, or you're Caucasian like me and tend to have dry skin and hair, I would definitely recommend checking out what Sienna Naturals has to offer.
