Back to school season is officially here! Luckily, my toddlers are still too young for school right now. We just moved to another state this past weekend, so we're swamped with so many things that need to be done. We're still unpacking, assembling furniture, and settling into our home. Another thing we need to do is buy all of Kyle's school apparel and supplies. It's enough to make my head spin right now! This year, we will be buying all of Kyle's school clothing and shoes at JCPenney. Why? Not only because they have hot fashion at affordable prices but also because they've teamed up with the Boys & Girls Club of America to help benefit a very worthy cause. For more than 100 years, Boys & Girls Club of America (BGCA) has provided kids with a safe haven and fun, highly engaging activities to help them develop the creativity and confidence necessary to succeed in school. Through programs geared towards education, leadership development, arts and fitness, BGCA helps young people reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. With the back-to-school season around the corner, preparations have begun at Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide for the influx of students throughout the year. To make sure all kids, especially those in need, are prepared for academic success this year, BGCA has launched the Tools for Back to School initiative . Having worked in the public school system before, I have seen firsthand many students whose families did not have means to purchase the supplies they needed for the year. How can you help? Boys and Girls Club of America (BGCA) and Disney have partnered to launch the Tools for Back to School initiative. This initiative features a pop-quiz style game, where supplies are donated to BGCA for every correct answer you score. Not only is this a fun way to test your trivia skills, you're also helping a fantastic cause. Every child deserves the best chance at an education, and the generous folks at the BGCA are committed to helping make that dream come true for so many students. How cool is that?! So when you visit jcpenney in August, join jcp cares and round up your purchase to benefit Boys & Girls Clubs. You can help give deserving students a head start at a successful academic year! In addition, the BGCA website features a plethora of educational resources and content, offering numerous ways for Moms and Dads to engage and support the organization. BGCA offers different educational content and tip sheets for parents to download and utilize. You can find them on the left hand side of the BGCA site under the Get Ready header. ***Disclosure:I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Boys and Girls Club. I received a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.***
