![]() My home is almost 100 years old, and has a lot of gorgeous, original hardwood. Much of the house has hardwood floors, and we also have great built-in bookshelves, original doors from the 1920's, and a lot of wood trim. We love the amount of character that all of the wood gives our home, but we realize that it requires proper maintenance to keep it looking beautiful. Not all wood cleaners are created equal. Not by a long shot, actually. Many wood cleaning products leave wood vulnerable to warping, cracking, and fading due to the fact that they're watered down and contain waxes or silicones which over time, can harm the wood they're supposed to be preserving. A lot of wood cleaners also leave behind a gross residue that end up making wood appear dull and dirty. That's why I love the products from Scott's Liquid Gold. This American company has been around for 60 years, and they are committed to bringing only the highest quality of products into the homes of their customers. They offer a wide range of products that are designed specifically to clean, polish, and bring back the original splendor of wood. Whether it be hardwood floors, kitchen cabinets, or even coffee tables and other furniture, these products do their job well, while remaining gentle to the wood. We use the Scott's Liquid Gold Wood Cleaner on our cabinets, and it takes away all the greasy, grimy nastiness that builds up over time. I think the old lady who owned our home before didn't clean her cabinets often, because the difference after using this product the first time was like night and day. Our cabinets are shiny and the wood looks absolutely amazing now. This product is wonderful, and a single application not only brings back the original color and shine of the wood, it also lessens the appearance of nicks and scratches. For my wood floors, I use the Scott's Liquid Gold Wood Wash Concentrate. This product is mixed in a bucket with warm water, and you simply mop your floors as usual. The results are clean, shiny, gleaming floors. A little bit goes a long way, so one bottle of Wood Wash will last quite a long time. For cleaning and dusting our dressers, coffee tables, and end tables, we use the Scott's Liquid Gold Dust 'n Go wipes. These come in a handy canister and remove dust and grime with a single swipe. They leave our furniture looking great, and they're just so convenient to use. No sprays, no rags...Just a wipe. Pretty ingenious, if you ask me! In addition to fantastic products for all of your wooden surfaces, the folks at Scott's Liquid Gold also have a great system to help keep all of your TV, computer, and electronic screens clean. Their Clean Screen products are a must-have, in my opinion. Clean Screen comes in 2 versions: the Original Clean Screen, which is great for televisions and computers, and Little Clean Screen, which can be used on cell phones, tablets, and more. We even use this on our toddlers' InnoTabs and MobiGos! Formulated with a Reverse Osmosis (RO) solution water treatment technology that removes molecules of mineral deposits and impurities smaller than the water molecules themselves, Scott's Liquid Gold Clean Screen leaves nothing behind but a crystal clear clean. The microfiber cloth, used to apply Clean Screen, is soft, lint-free, highly absorbent and quick drying. It cleans without scratching delicate surfaces and is washable and reusable. I would definitely recommend Scott's Liquid Gold products for all of your wood (and screen!) cleaning needs. These products are gentle, effective, and are a step above the competition. If you try them, I guarantee you'll notice the difference immediately. How To Connect : You can check out the awesomeness that is Scott's Liquid Gold on their website. You can also connect with them on Facebook and on twitter to stay on top of their latest products and promotions! Win It ! On our windows I use ammonia & water with a bit of vinegar for no streaking. Also, I use a squeegee after washing and that helps too if you have a good one so they come out super clean

If you put a tshirt or a dry swiffer floor sweeper cloth on the end of the broom, it's a quick and cleaner way to clean the dust off your ceiling and walls.
