Savvy Rest Latex Organic Pet Bed Review And GIVEAWAY! 8/22

I know I talk a lot about my husband and my children, but there's another member of my family I would like to introduce to you. She is our 4 year old Jack-A-Bee and my son Kyle's "daughter", Chloe. We adopted Chloe almost a year ago after our beloved Shih-Tzu, Mojo, passed away after an encounter with a bleach rag. (Please, if you use bleach for cleaning, DO NOT ever accidentally leave rags where pets can get them. We learned this the hard way when our preteen left a rag on the floor, and lost the best little doggy in the world because of it!) Anyway, Chloe is a great little dog, and absolutely loves my children. She even allows herself to be climbed on by our toddler, and has never so much as growled! Needless to say, we have a wonderful dog, and we love to spoil her. She has proven to be a true companion and member of our family.

We received the Savvy Doggy organic pet bed in black for our review. We opted for a medium sized pet bed, which ended up being the perfect size for our 25lb dog. While the Savvy Doggy comes in either solid or shredded latex fill, we chose the solid latex, since Chloe has been known to tear up bean bag chairs and other similarly filled items,as she gets a little too playful at times.

When our Savvy Doggy arrived, I was immediately struck by the superior quality of this pet bed. It is constructed of the same, solid natural latex found in top of the line mattresses, and offers a pressure-relieving, comfortable rest. After all, our pets deserve the best level of comfort we can give them after a day full of licking faces, frolicking, and investigating the great outdoors on daily walks. The Savvy Doggy provides superior comfort, as the natural latex core does not retain heat and moisture the way conventional bed pets can, as well as provides consistent and proper support to your pets joints and spine.

Overall, we love our Savvy Doggy Organic Latex Pet Bed! And so does Chloe! This bed is comfortable, and provides just the right amount of "give" without being too stiff, and it truly feels like memory foam, in my opinion. (Without the over-heating issue we experience with our traditional memory foam mattress.)

Another wonderful thing about this pet bed is that the cover is made of 100% Organic Cotton Flannel, and is machine washable. This soft, supple cotton flannel is very durable and can withstand the abuse of even the most playful of pups. Chloe has trampled, scratched, and played on her Savvy Rest, and the cover is showing absolutely no signs of wear!

I also love that the core of this fantastic pet bed is made of natural latex. Natural latex foam is made from rubber tree sap, which is also called rubber serum. After the serum is collected, the trees' bark heals rapidly. Rubber trees can yield latex for as long as 30 years. When the trees are harvested, the land is replanted. Rubberwood is one of the hardest and most recommended furniture woods, according to the Sustainable Furnishings Council. The natural latex used by Savvy Rest meets the highest standards, and is certified organic by the USDA. There are absolutely no chemicals or pesticides used in the cultivation of this product, so you will never have to wonder what your pet is being exposed to while using their Savvy Doggy (or Savvy Kitty) pet beds. Natural latex mattresses last 2-3 times longer than conventional mattresses, and always keeps its shape perfectly and offers consistent resilience over the life of the product.
