![]() As the busy mama of 3 kids, I don't often have time to run to my favorite salon, Dixie's, to have my hair done or get basic pampering. I can't drag my toddlers with me, and my preteen would get so incredibly bored waiting for me to be done. Plus, with one income, I cannot really justify the cost of regular salon visits. I just do my own hair at home for now. Granted, this usually means a ponytail or messy bun to keep tiny little hands from tugging my hair. For now. Ahh, the joys of motherhood! One thing that's been driving me absolutely insane and plunged me into a near mental breakdown and premature mid-life crisis was the shocking discovery of gray. Just one, mocking gray hair that I promptly yank out whenever it makes an appearance. How did that happen?! I am only 30, and I don't feel old. I don't LOOK old. It seems that only yesterday I was one of those bratty teens that now get on my nerves so much. Boo to aging! It really does seem to creep up on you! But I have to face the facts here...Where there is one gray hair, more are on the way. They're like tiny little terrorist invaders, creeping in one by one to create chaos. Okay, so maybe that's an exaggeration. I just hate the idea of having any gray at all. Perhaps it's vanity, but I think every woman, even the most humble, has a touch of that. We all want to look our best, and some of us just don't like the idea of aging gracefully. If we did, there wouldn't be the need for anti-aging products, Botox, or plastic surgery. Just saying. Recently, I came across a great product that can help disguise those nasty grays between salon visits or home coloring applications. It can even be used simply to even out overgrown roots!Rita Hazan Root Concealer is a simple spray on solution that easily and effectively conceals grays or mis-matched roots. This product is simple to use, doesn't rub off, even on pillowcases, and lasts until YOU shampoo it out! It's even water-resistant! How do you use it? It couldn't be easier. Just style your hair as normal, and spray the Root Concealer directly to your hair. Viola! A perfect, flawless finish! I know you're probably wondering just how much improvement can be gained from using Rita Hazan Root Concealer. Well, I tried photographing my own hair, but you can't see a dramatic difference since I am not overrun with gray yet. So I decided to pull out the big guns and use my husband as the guinea pig. Dan is only 34, but has a TON of gray. I would say he is more than 85% gray. (Darn genetics!) Take a look at his before and after photos using Rita Hazan Root Concealer: Overall, I am pretty impressed with Rita Hazan Root Concealer. It's easy to use, fool-proof, and comes in a wide variety of shades guaranteed to match pretty much any hair color. It also have a ton of staying power. You can even work-out using this with no fear of dripping or bleeding! The great part? If you forget to wash it out before bed, it won't even come off onto your pillowcases. Now that says a lot!
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to conceal those pesky grays or uneven roots without having to rush to the salon. It works like a charm and is very natural looking, too! I will have to try that! Where I have some new hair growth coming in it is pure white! My hair is so thin,I usually pull it back to try and hide it!
