***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my review. No other compensation was provided and all opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** Okay, so I have a confession to make....Before I attended the Iron Man 3 premiere about a year ago, I had never seen a superhero movie. None of them. In fact, I flat out refused to. In my mind, they were "cheesy guy movies" and "lacked substance". Well, seeing Iron Man 3 proved me wrong. I didn't expect to like it, but was pleasantly surprised. I absolutely LOVED it! And so, a Marvel fan was born. We now have most of the Marvel movies in our DVD and Blu-Ray collection, and the kids are basically obsessed with superheroes now. So when I learned about the super-cute Playskool Mr. Potato Head Marvel Mixable Mashable Heroes, I knew I just had to grab them. After all, Mr. Potato Head is a classic. I remember having one or two when I was a child. Add Marvel to the mix? Yes, please! This is enough to satisfy both my sentimental, nostalgic side as well as my newly emerging comic-geek side, too. We received the Playskool Mr. Potato Head Marvel Mixable Mashable Heroes as Hulk and Wolverine. As you can see, this cute little guy includes the apparel and accessories of both Hulk and Wolverine. The pieces fit together just like in original Mr. Potato Head toys. This is much, much smaller though, so you can't house the pieces within the back of Mr. Potato Head. To get an idea of the size, here's my 4 year old daughter sitting down with the toy. As you can see, it's pretty small. This is actually one of the things I like the most about it. It's highly portable and will fit easily into a purse, diaper bag, or backpack. Both Sophie and Xander love playing with this super cool spud. They really get a kick out of transforming Mr. Potato Head into Hulk and Wolverine. When they're feeling especially silly, the do a hybrid of the two. They even named him "Hulkerine." Silly, silly children. We're really digging the Playskool Mr. Potato Head Marvel Mixable Mashable Heroes. They're a lot of fun, and definitely keep kids engaged. I think I am going to have to add to our collection, though, since the kids do tend to fight over him. But at a price point of less than $10.00, this won't break the bank one bit. So if you love Mr. Potato Head and Marvel, be sure to check these toys out. They're a lot of fun, and sure to bring plenty of smiles.
