![]() As the mom of a teen, one thing I hear a lot of complaints about is acne. My soon to be 13 year old, Kyle, has started experiencing more breakouts recently, and they have been really distressing to him. I try and explain that pimples are simply a reality at his age, and that they're caused by those pesky hormones that accompany puberty. I hate these conversations, because they serve as a constant reminder that my "baby" is no longer a baby at all. When we talk about hormones and their physical effects, Kyle's response is usually pretty amusing, since I recall having the same feelings at his age...."But Mom, that's not fair. Puberty makes you start wanting to date, and if I am covered in ooey-gooey zits, who is going to want to date me?!" (Yes, he really calls them ooey-gooey...I guess my little boy is still in there, somewhere!) We have tried several different products to help keep breakouts at bay. Many of them worked, and worked well. The problem we encountered is that so many of these systems require several steps, and most teens simply do not have the patience or the motivation to do something every single day that requires so much work. In a word, teens can be lazy. Especially boys! So it came as no surprise when Kyle started getting lax in his skin care routine. Introducing Repiderm ![]() When I learned about Repiderm made by Bio-Scriptives, I was immediately excited. You see, Repiderm eliminates the need to treat acne with several different steps. This easy to apply topical product is all-in-one, and can be applied to a clean face twice a day. This is a much simpler routine to follow than other acne products, and one that even (lazy) teens can stick to! Repiderm works to heal existing acne as well as help prevent new blemishes from forming. It is effective against pimples, whiteheads, and even stubborn blackheads! This product comes in a 2oz bottle. A little dab goes a very long way, so the bottle should last several weeks. This product contains a lot of natural ingredients like Aloe, Tea Tree Oil, and Rosemary, just to name a few. It also contains 4.4% Benzoyl-Peroxide, which is a proven acne fighting ingredient. I love the fact that there are so many skin-soothing ingredients in Repiderm, which makes it very gentle to the skin. My son has somewhat sensitive skin, and he has not had any rashes or irritation while using this product. It also has an herbal, almost citrusy scent that Kyle really likes. Kyle has been using Repiderm for a couple of weeks now, and he has surprisingly been able to stick with it. This speaks volumes, considering my son is very easily distracted, and often forgets to do even the simplest of things...like put a new roll of toilet paper on the holder when he uses the last bit. But he uses Repiderm in the morning as well as after he showers in the evening, and he doesn't forget. He likes the way this product makes his skin feel, and we have noticed some reduction of blemishes. His chin has cleared up considerably, and the whiteheads he would get around his nostrils have gone away as well. With continued use, I think he will be enjoying clearer skin altogether. Repiderm definitely works, and since it's so easy to use, it's definitely Kyle's preferred acne-control method. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone who has stubborn acne issues and doesn't want to go through the hassle of multiple-step treatments. Buy It : You can purchase Repiderm and other great skin care products on the Bio-Scriptives website. Repiderm retails for $27 dollars for a full-sized, 2oz bottle. Win It ! I am thrilled to announce that 3 lucky readers will each receive a bottle of Repiderm of their own from the generous folks at Bio-Scriptives! How cool is that?!
