***Disclosure: I received this product for free from the sponsor of the Moms Meet program, May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meet blogger, I agree to use this product and post my opinion on my blog. My opinions do not necessarily reflect the opinions of May Media Group LLC or the manufacturer of this product.*** My kids are picky eaters. My teen won't eat mushrooms or olives, and refuses to eat if I prepare a meal containing either. My 4 and 5 year olds? Well, my daughter won't eat anything that's too yellow, with the exception of bananas, of course. For some reason, they're the exception to her strange little rule. Xander, my 4 year old, insists on being the opposite of his big sister. The ying to her yang, perhaps. If she wants a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, he wants JUST jelly. If she wants chicken strips and BBQ sauce, he wants fish sticks and ketchup. Needless to say, their diets can be difficult to accommodate. Since the list of offensive foods is large and ever-changing, I always try and supplement my kids' diets with supplements. I want to be sure they are receiving all the vital nutrients that they may not be getting in all of their meals. Thanks to the Green Moms Meet Blogger program, we recently got to try a couple of great children's supplements from Rainbow Light! Rainbow Light®, the #1 most trusted natural vitamin brand* , delivers research-based formulations that include a blend of superfoods, organic, non-GMO spirulina, plant enzymes, probiotics, and botanicals for enhanced digestion, absorption, and a difference you can feel. Rainbow Light has formalized its 30 year history of good corporate citizenship with its Circle of Care program, encompassing the company’s work as founding supporter of Vitamin Angels and a growing network of aid partners to provide life-saving nutrition to mothers and babies everywhere. Rainbow Light keeps over 10 million plastic bottles out of the waste stream annually with its trademarked, 100% upcycled EcoGuard™ bottles.
In addition to the Power Sours® Multivitamin Gummies, we also received Bear Essentials Multivitamin and Multimineral Gummies.
Both of these products were a hit with my kids. The flavor was decent, but you can definitely detect a "vitamin aftertaste". It didn't deter my kids at all, though. I actually appreciate the fact that these don't taste like candy. I would hate for them to accidentally get confused! Another thing I love is the fact that these products are delivered in convenient, stay-fresh, single-serving packs. This makes taking supplements, even on the go, a breeze!
