![]() As you all know, I am very passionate about feeding my children organic baby food whenever possible. I take my job as a parent seriously, and I want to give my kids nothing but the best possible nutrition that is free of residual pesticides, herbicides, preservatives, and GMO's. (Genetically Modified Organisms) These common additives find their way into our foods all the time, and as of right now, there is no requirement to label products accordingly. With so many potentially harmful ingredients making their way into our food supply, going organic is really the only way to go, in my humble opinion. Organic foods must be approved and certified as being such, which totally eliminates concerns over what is going into the bodies of our families. Plus, organic foods simply taste better! Once you eliminate all of the additives and preservatives, food tastes amazing. There aren't any odd, chemically aftertastes from artificial ingredients, so all you experience are pure, wonderful flavors, just as nature intended. One of my toddlers' favorite organic snacks are the yummy pouches from Peter Rabbit Organics. Peter Rabbit Organics pouches contain a generous 4 to 4.4 oz. serving of 100% USDA certified organic fruit, with no added sugar, preservatives or artificial ingredients and provide 100% of the recommended servings of fruit and/or vegetables for kids. You won’t have to read the label – the fruit you see on the front is what’s inside! If you do read the label you’ll see your snacks are high in vitamin C, have between 60 and 90 calories, 0 fat (of course – it’s fruit!) and 1.5-2 grams of fiber, making them not only delicious, but wonderfully nutritious, too! They even have a no-choke lid, and are perfectly sized to fit little hands! Peter Rabbit Organics have some pretty awesome flavor combinations that are sure to please even the pickiest of palates. Let's face it: Babies and toddlers can have the most discriminating tastes! These pouches are a fantastic way to get your kids to eat their fruits and veggies, even spinach! The company uses familiar base flavors, such as apple or banana, and then adds other, less loved ingredients like that spinach I mentioned or even peas! In addition to our favorites, Pea, Spinach, and Apple and Strawberry and Banana, just to name a couple, Peter Rabbit Organics has 5 NEW flavors to enjoy! These new additions to the Peter Rabbit Organics line-up include: Peach and Apple, Banana and Apple, Pear and Apple, Pear and Pea, and Pumpkin, Carrot and Apple. My toddlers, Sophie and Xander, recently got the chance to try these new flavor combinations for themselves. They absolutely LOVED them! I would have to say the clear winners were the Peach and Apple, Banana and Apple, and the Pear and Pea. That's solely based on my own taste test! All of the flavors were wonderful, though. The kids happily gobbled them up, and even got into "fights" over the empty pouches once they were drained of their fruity goodness. Seriously, they fought over them, trying to steal them away from each other. I suppose this means that sibling rivalry can start very, very young.
Overall, I love Peter Rabbit Organics. My kids love them for their amazing flavor, and I love them because I know I am giving my kids the best possible nutrition without fear of preservatives, additives, chemicals, or GMO's. I would definitely recommend adding Peter Rabbit Organics to your baby's diet. Try them! I guarantee you'll be pleasantly surprised. Who said going green and choosing organic had to be boring? The folks at Peter Rabbit Organics have proven it's anything but bland! HOW TO CONNECT: You can check out the awesomeness that is Peter Rabbit Organics on their website.
