Being a blogger can be pretty awesome at times. Not only do I get to meet all kinds of amazing people from all areas and walks of life, I also get to travel on occasion. This is a huge deal to me, since before I began blogging, I had never really been anywhere. (With the exception of Toronto in the winter. That doesn't count, right?)
So far, I have been to the fabulous Langham Huntington Pasadena, the most luxe hotel ever, to hang out with the pups from the Beverly Hills Chihuahua movies. I've also hung out with none other than Jordin Sparks in busy NYC. I've also been a resident of the "Real Whirled House" in St. Joseph, Michigan, had a world-class chef serve me a decadent lunch in the Windy City, and oh...We can't forget walking the red carpet with the stars at the Hollywood Premiere of Iron Man 3!
So yeah, being a blogger can be pretty exciting at times. I am so grateful for the wonderful opportunities I receive, especially when jet-setting is involved! Now I tend to be a light packer. Most of my press trips are only about 2 or 3 days, so I don't see a point in packing my entire wardrobe. Those extra baggage fees are expensive, and I certainly don't want to lug heavy bags through the airports as I rush to meet a connecting flight. So I limit myself to just one carry-on bag. Sadly, this bag is often crammed full and not very organized.
On my next trip, whenever that may be, I will be better prepared and organized, thanks to the TravelWise Packing Cube System from EatSmart Products. This is a 3 piece set that allows you to effectively organize your clothing, accessories, and even electronics, making travel a whole lot more simple.
Our Review of the TravelWise Packing Cube System:
The generous folks at EatSmart Products sent me this system to check out for myself. When it arrived, the first thing I noticed was the awesome, vibrant color! Purple happens to be one of my favorites, so this was a nice treat.
The next thing I noticed was how lightweight, yet durable the set is. It's make from a sturdy, strong nylon. These cubes are also extremely breathable, and feature mesh panels so you can always see what is in each cube. No digging through your bag is necessary. This also makes getting through those pesky TSA checkpoints a breeze!
There are 3 sizes: A large cube that easily holds pants, sweaters, and other bulkier clothing items, a medium cube that holds shirts, undergarments, hosiery and more, and a small cube that I like to use for accessories, personal care products, and electronics.
Here are the dimensions of the set:
Small Size 11.5" x 6.75" x 3.75"
Medium Size 13.75" x 9.75" x 3.75"
Large Size 17.5" x 12.75" x 4"
Once packed full of clothing, these cubes fit easily into any standard luggage. The nice part is that when clothing is packed into these cubes, they do not shift during travel. (And you know as well as I do that airline personnel aren't always gentle with luggage!) So your clothing remains neat and perfectly folded within these handy cubes.
Overall, I am totally digging the TravelWise Packing Cube System by EatSmart Products. This will make my life so much easier the next time I have to go on a press trip or family road trip. I love the fact that these cubes keep everything in it's place, and that all contents remain fairly visible. Not having to dig through bags to find what I am looking for is so convenient! Plus, it makes packing to return home easier than ever, since you never truly need to unpack using this system. Simply slide these cubes into the dresser drawers in your hotel room, and then pack them back into your luggage when it's time to depart. Couldn't be easier!
So if you love to travel and want to eliminate all of that packing stress, definitely check out the TravelWise Packing Cube System. I think you'll be as pleased as I am!
