How many times have you heard this from your children, their classmates, even teachers or other parents – and probably said it yourself? For anyone who had to spend their formative years memorizing the multiplication tables or learning long division, math often tops the list of as the most "hated" subject…in fact a recent survey out of Stanford found that regardless of IQ and other factors, math performance was connected with a positive attitude revealing that children who have poor attitudes toward math rarely perform well in the subject, while those with positive attitudes had a range of math achievement. The Math Facts That Stick series by Kate Snow and published by Well-Trained Mind Press—which includes Addition Facts that Stick, Subtraction Facts That Stick, and the two newest titles releasing July 2018, Multiplication Facts That Stick and Division Facts That Stick—are fun, engaging guides that help parents teach their children the math facts once and for all, without spending hours and hours drilling flash cards! Ideal for children ages 6-12, the series guides parents, step by step, as they teach their children to understand and memorize the math facts. Hands-on activities, fun games that kids love, and simple practice pages help students remember the math facts for good…all in a few short weeks! Drawing on decades of experience as a classroom teacher, homeschool parent, and curriculum writer, Kate Snow shows us :
Our Thoughts:We received copies of these books to check out for ourselves this summer. As a homeschooling parent who actually DOES hate math, these have been a lifesaver. I've found fun, easy ways to remind myself-and the kids-how to master basic math equations. Both kids are pretty solid when it comes to addition and subtraction, but we're still brushing up on these in order to get us ready for..... (Cue evil sounding music) Multiplication and Division. Sophie is going into the 3rd grade, and Xander will be in 2nd Grade. This means math is about to get a lot trickier. In fact, things just got real for my daughter, since 3rd grade focuses largely on multiplication and division. Thankfully, with the help of this awesome series, we're getting a great head start before the new school year begins. We're building skills, confidence, and learning new ways to remember our math problems easily, making them almost painless. Almost. Hey, it's still math. If you're the parent of some math hating kiddos and want to turn their frowns upside down in time for a new academic year, definitely grab yourselves this series. They help immensely, and I don't mean JUST the kids...These books also help parents become better tutors! It's a win-win! For more info, please visit the following sites:

This is very nice blog because information provided here through the article and the pictures are very effective. Because sometimes words cannot explain the things that pictures can and here the words and pictures both are expressing the things in balance.
