My Kids Love Gorton's New Artisan Fillets #RealSolutions Plus GIVEAWAY 4/10

Like most kids, my children get bored with typical chicken nuggets and PB&J when lunch time comes. Sure, they love these foods, but not every single day. So once in awhile, I love to switch things up a bit and offer them a meal that's convenient for me and tasty for them. And since we're a family of foodies, ordinary simply won't do. 

Thankfully, Gorton's Seafood has come up with some real solutions to meal time boredom that are sure to get mouths watering. The brand 
NEW Gorton’s Artisan Fillets are available in Roasted Garlic & Italian Herb, Lemon & Cracked Peppercorn, Southwest Tortilla and Southern Style varieties. Sounds pretty tasty, right?


We recently had the opportunity to check out some of these products for ourselves, such as the Southern Style Fillets, Lemon & Cracked Peppercorn Filets, and of course we had to grab some Crunchy Butterfly Shrimp! 

Like all other Gorton's products, these are super-simple to prepare. Today, I made the kids some Southern Style Artisan Filets. Now there are supposed to be 5 large fillets in the box, but we got a stowaway apparently. There were 6!  

The Southern Style Artisan Fillets are a delectable treat for the taste buds. These filets are coated with a special blend of southern spices and a crunchy, corn crust. They contain no fillers, MSG or artificial colors or flavors, either! And at just 170 calories per fillet, these make for a guilt-free meal. 

Like I said, these are so easy to make. All you need to do is set the oven to 425 degrees and cook them for about 19 minutes, flipping at around the 12 minute mark. 

Once they're done, serve them along side some fresh veggies for a flavorful, satisfying meal. Today, my kids enjoyed their fish with some fresh steamed cauliflower and broccoli, seasoned with a little sea salt, freshly ground black pepper, sweet cream butter, and a squirt of lemon juice. Yum!

I can't wait to try even more of the Artisan Fillets varieties. These take fish to a whole new level with inspired seasonings and coatings. So the next time your child says that fish is boring, be sure to whip them up some of these amazing new fillets from Gorton's. They'll be singing a different tune in no time!
