My 5 Year Wedding Anniversary Is Coming Up!

On April 5th, my husband and I will be celebrating 5 wonderful years of marriage. It's actually kind of funny, because I have known him since I was 13. We dated for several months as kids, but broke up like kids often do...We both married and then divorced crazy people, and then out of nowhere, he found me again on MySpace back when people actually used to use it. The rest, as they say, is history.

It's been an amazing 5 years, and during that time we welcomed to gorgeous children into our family, bought our first home, and moved from Virginia, which we both hated, to my hometown in Ohio. We're incredibly happy with the way our life together has turned out, and I am one of the lucky few who can really say I am married to my best friend and soul mate, as cheesy as it sounds.

As much as I love my husband, he is generally pretty clueless when it comes to gift-giving, so he always asks me for a "wish list" for special occasions. Since we certainly have a lot to celebrate, he told me to look for something sparkly to commemorate 5 years of marriage.

Of course, I immediately thought of the amazing jewelry at Kranich Jewelers. I have been eyeing many of their gorgeous bracelets for some time now, and thankfully, several of them fit well within our budget. Or maybe I should go for one of their beautiful necklaces. There are some very elegant diamond pendants, as well as some very fashionable enamel necklaces that would definitely be great conversation pieces. Or maybe one of their fabulous rings. The hard part is choosing....There are so many stunning designs to choose from, including some very exquisite designer lines like Art Carved.

So my task for the next week or 2 is to come up with a wish list to give to my husband. He actually asked me to do this about a month ago, but I am not used to shopping for myself, so it's hard to decide what I'd like. I just know that no matter what he ultimately chooses, it will be absolutely special. Almost as special as he is!
