![]() While I am fortunate enough to not suffer from many aches and pains, even at the ripe "old" age of 30, my husband is an entirely different story altogether. Dan spent many years working as a mechanic, and while he is no longer turning wrenches and has a cushy desk job in the automotive field, his poor body still suffers from its past abuse. He often suffers from back pain, and even gets random stiffness in his legs and even in his wrists. Dan is your typical stubborn man, and refuses to see a doctor, as his pain is never overly severe. It's more of an annoyance than anything else. He also HATES taking any sort of oral medication. He has a hard time swallowing pills, and even something as tiny as a baby aspirin will leave him gagging and choking. I personally don't like to use a lot of over-the-counter drugs, either. Sure, I keep them in my home for fever reduction, etc. But if at all possible, I turn to naturally-derived, homeopathic remedies whenever possible. I have found that these kinds of remedies work just as well as their synthetically produced counterparts, if not better. And with natural medications, I don't have to worry about adverse reactions and safety issues nearly as much. With all of the recent recalls and health news surrounding common, over-the-counter drugs and their dangers, can you blame me for being cautious? One company I really like is Boiron. Boiron is the maker of a wide variety of homeopathic medicines, and I have personally used a lot of their cold relief products. They really do work, too! So naturally, when I learned about Arnicare Gel, I was eager to try it. Arnicare Gel, from the makers of Boiron products, is a topical pain relief gel that uses Arnica montana, an ingredient that is known to reduce muscle pain and stiffness, relieve swelling due to injury, and even help improve discoloration of the skin caused by bruising. I thought this would be a perfect remedy for my husband's muscle aches and pains, and one that he couldn't complain about. Since it's a topical gel, there is nothing he would have to try and swallow! It didn't take long after receiving our tube of Arnicare to get the chance to try it out. Like I said, Dan has back pain on a regular basis. So when he started experiencing the familiar stiffness, I grabbed the tube of Arnicare and helped him apply it to his lower back as well as his shoulders. I was pretty impressed by the fact that while this is a gel, it absorbs into the skin rather quickly and leaves behind no icky, greasy residue. It wasn't sticky at all, either! Dan said that the gel provided a nice, cooling sensation that actually did help relieve his pain somewhat. No, it wasn't completely gone, but it was definitely reduced and much more bearable. The relief lasted for a few hours, too!
I would definitely recommend Arnicare Pain Relief Gel to anyone who suffers from minor aches and pains. This would be wonderful for those who have physically demanding jobs, or even for athletes! This product lives up to its promises and can definitely take the edge off of the discomfort associated with muscle aches or injury. Plus, since it's derived from nature, you don't have to worry so much about what nasty chemicals you may be putting into your body. Overall, this is a great product and one I plan to keep on hand from now on! HOW TO CONNECT: To learn more about Arnicare, check out their website. I haven't tried arnicare but i'd like to. Especially for my husband. He can't take many pain relievers so he's limited in what he can use to soothe his back and sciatica pain!

We have never tried these before - we usually use the normal remedies you can get a the drug store (the ones full of chemicals).

I sometimes use natural remedies for my pain like ice and heat but it depends on how severe it is.
