***Disclosure: “I participated in a Blog Blast on behalf of Mom Central for Urbini. I received information from Urbini to facilitate my post as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.”*** As a mom, it's very important to me that my kids grow up to be kind, tolerant, and empathetic human beings. In our home, we celebrate the differences and diversity found in our world. After all, no matter what color our skin is, which cultural traditions we practice or what languages we speak, we're all just people, trying to make a mark on the world. Recently, I discovered a wonderful site that features how Motherhood varies around the globe. (Or, in many cases, how it's the same.) Mom Voyáge is a community of Mom bloggers sharing their experiences in motherhood from all around the world. Featured contributors on the website come from the Netherlands, France, Britain, Holland, Japan, China and Australia as well as the US. Get a global perspective on how different cultures name their babies, how they celebrate pregnancies, what their take is on maternity leave, and many other Mom-inspired topics. (Let me just say, I WISH the US had the same views on maternity leave that many other countries do!) And the Dutch pregnancy cravings? They're making me hungry right now, and I am not even expecting!
Be sure to check out Mom Voyáge for yourself! It's loaded with some very interesting and eye-opening content, created just for moms like you! Also, be sure to connect with them on social media:
