Dying Easter eggs was a tradition when I was a child. Now, I think a lot of families use plastic eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt. I enjoy spending the day with my grand children, and watching them as they hunt for eggs in the front yard and garden.

Back about 20 yrs. Ago when my children were young, we would dye hard boiled eggs & then in the morning we'd hide them in the house after going to church service. Sometimes there'd be an egghunt at church. After we'd come home & have an Easter ham dinner. As the kids got older the egghunts were more elaborate with plastic eggs outside. They got candy too in their baskets & also we'd watch Ten Commandments or any other Easter movies. Wonderful memories!
