***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my review. No other compensation has been provided, and all opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** Okay, so Mother Nature is clearly on drugs. We've had a few absolutely gorgeous days here in NE Ohio, and this morning, we woke up to snow. (How does that even happen?!) Even if the temperatures are flip-flopping like crazy, it doesn't change the fact that pretty soon, it will be time to break out those bathing suits. If you're like me, the thought of squeezing into a little spandex suit might elicit more than a little bit of dread. After having 3 c-sections, I have this annoying belly pooch that drives me absolutely insane and makes me want to avoid the beach or pool. Of course when you have kids who love swimming and playing in the water, you have to just accept the fact that the swimsuit will be a wardrobe staple during the warmer months, whether you like it or not. Still, it doesn't hurt to try and get in the best physical shape possible before breaking out those short shorts, summer dresses and swimsuits. After a long and insanely cold winter, I know I have packed on 10lbs that certainly weren't invited. Now it's time to get rid of them, hopefully once and for all. Anyone who knows me knows I hate exercise. If I get sweaty or if something hurts, I turn into a big baby. Still, I force myself to get on the treadmill 5 times a week since physical activity is super important for a healthy lifestyle. I'm not 18 anymore, after all. I need to keep my metabolism going at a good rate for burning away the extra pounds. I also help curb the urge to munch on unhealthy snacks by using supplements from Re-Body®. Their Meratrim supplements and Saffron Hunger Chews are a powerful ally in the battle against unwanted fat. Meratrim is made from natural, Ayurvedic ingredients like unique fruit and flower extract blend of Garcinia mangostana and Sphaeranthus indicus - which have been trusted for centuries in India and beyond. (I am ALL about natural remedies and supplements, and have had amazing success with Ayurvedic products.) I just take 1 "veggie capsule" in the morning, and another about 30 minutes before dinner. Then I let the natural fruit and flower extracts do their thing. I have found that while using this product, I tend to eat less during meal time, and it's also easier to turn down foods that would normally be my Kryptonite, like breads, cheese, and pasta. Oh, and these don't contain any stimulants of any kind, so getting the shakes or having a rapid heartbeat will not be an issue. While taking Meratrim, people generally start seeing visible results within 2 weeks, like losing inches around the waistline and dropping a few pounds. Many users also report losing inches around the hips at around 8 weeks. This, of course, should be in conjunction with a 2,000 calorie per day diet and at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day. Meratrim is not a miracle cure, but it's a very useful and effective tool that can help your hard work and dedication reap rewards more quickly. If I'm really craving foods that I know I shouldn't indulge in, or if I am heading to a party with lots of snacks, I make sure to carry some Re-Body® Saffron Hunger Chews with me. These are delicious, tropical flavored chews that help to curb cravings. You can take 1 chew 2 times a day, generally before meals, for the best results. I have to admit, I was a little bit worried about the flavor of these chews. After all, Saffron is amazing, but incredibly strong in flavor. A little, tiny bit goes a long, long way. I was happy to find that these taste like a tropical fruit smoothie and the Saffron is not at all overwhelming. You get a hint of it, but it's totally complementary to the fruit flavor of the chew. I would not recommend keeping these anywhere really warm like in your pocket or in a hot car, as they will melt a little and make a gooey mess. I found this out the hard way! Oops! Overall, I am pretty impressed with Re-Body® products. Since I am an eating disorder survivor, I make it a point to NOT weigh myself. Getting on the scale is a trigger and could easily throw me back into old habits, which would not be a good thing at all. After kicking an eating disorder, you're ALWAYS in recovery and have to take things one day at a time. So I can't tell you exactly how much weight I have lost using these products for the past 30 days. I can, however, tell you that I have lost almost 3 inches in my waist, an inch and a half on my upper arms, and about an inch in the upper thighs. Obviously, that means that I have experienced some weight loss. (Yay!) Of course these products are meant to be used in conjunction with a healthy diet and regular exercise if you'd like to see similar results. If you're looking for a safe, non-stimulant, natural way to help get in beach body shape, I would definitely recommend trying these products. So far, so good here, and I am hoping to see even more results before my birthday at the end of June. I've gotta look HOT in case Bruno can see me from the stage! (A girl can wish, right?!) How to Connect : You can check out the awesomeness of Meratrim on the ReBody® website. You can purchase these products online, as well as at fine retailers like GNC, Drugstore.com, Puritan's Pride, and Whole Foods, just to name a few. Enter to WIn: I am thrilled to announce that one lucky reader will receive their very own bottle of Meratrim to try for themselves!

Truthfully, I wouldn't be caught dead in a swimsuit after having five kids.

I don't really prepare for swimsuit season anymore as I almost never wear a swimsuit. However I would like to trim down my tummy and upper torso...kind of an ongoing project I'm afraid these days.

I haven't been in a swimsuit in years. I lost my husband of 28 years in 2010. I'm just now thinking about starting to date, first I need to lose weight and regain my confidence. :)
