Here in my hometown, we have some really great water parks, and I cannot wait to take my kids swimming. I also live fairly close to Lake Erie, and I can definitely see some outdoor picnicking in our near future. Not to mention amusement parks, boating, and lounging on the boardwalk on the riverfront in my town. Since I just covered some great women's swimwear, I thought it would be a great idea to feature some amazing beachwear for girls. After all, our little ladies want to look chic and stylish in the sun, too! I know my daughter has very discriminating taste, and she loves to be the center of attention. (What diva doesn't?!) So when the awesome folks at Stella Cove asked me to review one of their girl's swimsuits, I was very excited. Their unique, fashion-forward styles are totally my Sophie's style. If you haven't heard of Stella Cove, trust me...You will. This is a line of gorgeous, trendy high end swim and beach wear that is guaranteed to turn heads. Stella Cove has a wide variety of products including surf guards, swimwear, dresses, and even sunglasses. While there are a few options for women and boys, I will be focusing on their girls' line of beachwear. Be sure to check out their website to see everything Stella Cove has to offer. About Stella Cove : Stella Cove meets and exceeds expectations to produce the finest quality beachwear for boys and girls from 12 months to 16 years, and a small range of women's bikinis. All swimwear is UV50+ in fun, sophisticated prints, and includes dresses and accessories. Many of the prints are exclusive and cover a wide range of themes such as guitars, grapefruits, beautiful soft and bold florals, as well as geometric prints. We have maillots, bikinis, fitted and board shorts, surf guards, dresses and cover ups, and have also recently expanded into sunglasses and a line of French Terry robes and towels. Here are just a few of my favorite styles from Stella Cove. Prepare to drool! Aren't those absolutely spectacular?! There are also some very chic little dresses that I just know I will have to purchase for Sophie. And maybe some little swim trunks for Xander...Or a surf guard or three...Wow. I love everything from Stella Cove, and I have already created one heck of a wish list! My Review : The generous folks at Stella Cove sent us their rockin' Loud bikini, as well as a coordinating surf guard. (Nice surprise!) I love the print on this cute little two-piece, since we just happen to be big time music lovers here. Plus, my 3 year old Sophie just happens to be very interested in guitars in particular. The suit arrived very quickly, and I was immediately impressed by the quality of the fabric. You know how a lot of beachwear is flimsy and cheap feeling? Well, this suit was none of those. It is made from only the highest quality materials, and feels very soft against the skin. The colors and designs are also incredibly detailed and vibrant. We also received this coordinating Surf Guard. This is super-cute and helps provide an additional layer of protection against harmful UVA/UVB rays. This surf guard is made from the same amazing material as the swimsuit, and has a pretty blue trim on the sleeves and neckline. Okay, so here is the hard part. Sophie for some reason did NOT want to get her photo taken. She knew we weren't really going swimming since it's only about 30 degrees here in Ohio, and the pools aren't even open yet. What can I say...Sophie is a smart little cookie! So while I got her into her swimsuit, she was none too happy about it and told me "Mommy I don't want to. It's cold. No swimming." So needless to say, she isn't all rainbows and butterflies in these photos. She was actually pretty mad at me. But you can see just how cute the suit is! How adorable! I love, love, LOVE Stella Cove, and Sophie likes her suit, too! She will just be happier when she knows she really is going to go swimming, haha. I do need to point out that these suits do run a bit small. So while Sophie would usually wear a 4/5, she fits into the 6/7 perfectly. Overall, I couldn't be more impressed by Stella Cove. Their apparel is extremely well made, very stylish, and definitely sure to turn heads. I love how unique and colorful their designs are, and they really do have a boutique-y feel to them. That's right...These are NOT your typical mass merchandiser type suits. They're much, much nicer! How to Connect : You can check out the awesomeness that is Stella Cove on their website.
You can also connect with them on Facebook and on twitter to stay on top of their latest products and promotions!
