The other day, I was at the store and saw school supplies, backpacks, and all of the supply lists out. I had to do a double-take, since this wasn't what I was expecting to see already. It's hard to believe that summer is halfway over! We've been having so much fun that time has just flown by!

My 13 year old, for example, currently has blue hair and likes wearing vibrantly colored skinny jeans. (I am hoping it's a phase!)

So when you're shopping for your teens and tweens this year, it's a great idea to let them celebrate their individuality. Not only does this give them confidence and a strong sense of self, it also gets them excited about heading back to school after a long, lazy summer. How cool is that?! These are definitely not the lockers I had when I was a student! I was lucky to find a cheap, magnetic mirror and some photos to stick up.
