***Disclosure: All information and prizes have been provided by Kohl's. I received no compensation for this promotion. All opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** Most of us have been touched by breast cancer in some way. Whether it's a friend, mother, a grandmother or an aunt who has been affected, or you happen to be a survivor yourself, this disease will literally affect every single one of us during our lifetime in some way. Thankfully, I have not been affected by this disease in any way....yet. I am very blessed in this respect, but I don't fool myself into thinking it will never happen. However, I am a firm believer that with early detection, education, and awareness, we will find a cure for this horrible disease. Hopefully in my lifetime, or in my little girl's lifetime. No one should have to suffer from this disease. No one's wife, daughter, friend, mother, grandmother or aunt should have to lose their life when we can work harder to build awareness and find a cure. The folks at Kohl's are also passionate about this cause, and have teamed up with Candie's to offer a gorgeous line of breast cancer awareness products for summer of 2013. This is part of their charitable Kohl's Cares program, and all proceeds will be donated to help fund breast cancer research, awareness, and patient services programs. About Kohl's Cares Breast Cancer Awareness Initiative : Kohl's Department Stores invites customers to join the fight against breast cancer this summer with a new collection, by Candie's, from the Kohl's Cares cause merchandise program, which can be found in all Kohl's stores in Wisconsin, and online at Kohls.com/Cares. Available now through August 4, the collection features fashionable apparel, accessories, and beach must-haves, with 100 percent of the net profit supporting the fight against breast cancer. Available for only $5 and $10 each, the Candie's collection features a variety of vibrant and stylish apparel and accessories that support women's health. From cozy sleepwear, tees and shorts to beach essentials like sunglasses, flip flops and tote bags, all items feature Candie's signature style of bold colors, patterns and delicate details. Kohl's cause merchandise supporting the fight against breast cancer is available year-round, with 100 percent of the net profit supporting the cause. Kohl's has supported women's health with a commitment of $7 million to the American Cancer Society's Midwest Division and the Southeast Wisconsin Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure(R) to support breast cancer research, education and patient-assistance programs. The Kohl's Cares women's health initiative builds upon Kohl's long history of charitable involvement in the communities it serves. Since 2000, Kohl's and the Kohl's Cares program have combined to give more than $55 million to support charitable initiatives in the metro-Milwaukee area. In addition, over the past 12 years, the company's Kohl's Cares kids cause merchandise program, which sells plush toys and books, has raised more than $231 million to benefit children's health and education initiatives nationwide. My Top Picks : Here are just a few of my favorite pieces from this awesome collaboration between Kohl's and Candie's! Aren't these products adorable?! I just love Candie's. They have the most adorable shoes and accessories! I think I will purchase a pair of the Kohl's Cares sunglasses for myself, since I think they're positively drool-worthy! So this summer, be sure to head to Kohl's in Wisconsin or online and check out this exciting line of products. They range in cost from $5-$10, and they're sure to make you look hot this summer! Not only that, you'll be doing your part to help many women whose lives have been affected by breast cancer. How to Connect : You can check out the awesomeness that is Kohl's on their website. You can also connect with them on Facebook, twitter, and on YouTube to stay on top of their latest products and promotions! For more information about the Kohl's Cares program, click HERE.
