KMart's Big Layaway Giveaway

I can't believe it's already September! The summer flew by with little warning, and now it's time to start thinking about all of the upcoming winter festivities. There's caroling, trimming the tree, planning road trips to visit family near and far, and coming up with tasty, festive menus for gatherings.

 

With the holiday season rapidly approaching, it is time for me to start shopping for holiday gifts. With 3 kids, 3 dogs, and extended family to shop for, this can get ridiculously expensive. My 12 year old wants an iPad above all else. (Not gonna happen, buddy!) My husband is near impossible to shop for, and my toddlers don't really communicate their wish lists yet. In their minds, if they can see it, they want it.

 

So rather than make a mad dash to the store with mere days to spare, I think I may take advantage of Kmart's free layaway. This will allow me to plan ahead, reserve the gifts I know my family will love, and pay it off over time. This is awesome since I won't have to fight off some crazy old lady trying to wrestle people for the last iPhone case on the shelves!

I would love to get the Step2 Clubhouse Climber for my toddlers this year. It's a whopping $600! With Kmart's layaway plan, I can make this large purchase a lot less painful on our pocketbook!
