Sophie and Xander are a bit obsessed with pirates lately. It's probably due to the fact that we took them to see Disney Junior Live: Pirates and Princesses a few weeks ago. Now all they want to do is watch Jake and the NeverLand Pirates! My daughter even says she is a "Pirate Queen" and runs around yelling "Arrrrrr...Ahoy mateys!" I think I have created a monster! 

Thankfully, there is a brand new Jake and the NeverLand Pirates DVD coming out on November 19, 2013. 

Synopsis: 
In “Jake and the NeverLand Pirates: Never Land Rescue,” Jake embarks on his most heroic mission ever as the magic of Never Land begins to disappear just as the ancient Forever Tree seems to be fading away. After a mysterious figure known as “The Guardian” arrives to explain that only the pirate who truly believes in himself can save Never Land from vanishing completely, Jake must break off from the rest of his crew and go alone on a mission to save the Forever Tree, the source of magic throughout all of Never Land. Guiding Jake on his quest is Tinker Bell, who makes her first-ever appearance in the series.

This is SUCH a fun film. My little ones watch it every single day, and have basically memorized the Jake and the NeverLand Pirates theme song. They do a pirate dance and sing along, which is absolutely adorable! This would be a wonderful Holiday gift, so make sure to pick it up anywhere Disney movies are sold on November 19, 2013!
