My 3 year old Sophie has a huge personality. She is a girly-girl, through and through, but she also has a bit of an attitude on her. If she doesn't like something, she will be the first to let you know. She has no problem expressing her feelings, usually in a vocal, matter of fact way. If she weren't so darn cute, I would almost call her a bit of a snob at times.
Lately, she has been complaining about her car seat. She has a decent car seat, but it's nowhere near as fancy as Xander's. When she was smaller, it made no difference whatsoever. But now that she's 3, she is making her opinion known in a big bad way. Honestly, it's been a bit hard to get her to hop into her car seat. She protests and says it's "not cute."
Since Sophie is a total Daddy's girl and has my husband wrapped completely around her little finger, I have been told to search for a seat that's more to Princess Sophie's liking. I have looked at several different brands, and Lil' Miss Thing protested almost all of them....Until I came across this adorable Dora the Explorer toddler car seat from Kids Embrace. When she saw this character car seat, she squealed with delight.
Of course as a Mom, safety and product features are far more important than the cute factor. Thankfully, this car seat has all the bases covered. It has all of the crucial safety features I insist on, while featuring one of Sophie's favorite TV characters. Plus, the weight limits are quite generous, so it would literally get years' worth of use.
Have you heard of these car seats before? Do you like them? I'd love some feedback before I decide to buy!
