It's Time To Rethink The Way You Clean With iQ-The Smarter Cleaner Review And #GIVEAWAY! 10/179/17/2011 ![]() Have you ever stopped and thought about the household cleaners you're using in your home? Or even more, have you ever read the labels on them? It should come as no surprise that the vast majority of cleaning solutions are toxic and full of harsh chemicals that can poison not only your family and pets, but also the environment. Don't believe me? Just take a look at the warnings listed on the packaging. It's enough to unnerve me, that's for sure, especially considering that I have 3 kids and a small dog in my home. Even if you carefully follow the instructions, these many cleaners still leave behind a chemical laden residue that can prove to be very harmful if it comes into contact with people or animals. And no doubt, these chemicals DO come into contact with us every single day. Think about your kitchen counters, for example. If you're like me, you clean and disinfect your kitchen surfaces often. Well, if there is a residue left behind on the surfaces used to prepare food, guess where these chemicals end up? That's right! In our food and ultimately in our bodies. Pretty distressing, isn't it? Sure, there are a ton of so called "green" cleaners on the market that promise to be non-toxic to pets and humans. They are even made of eco-friendly ingredients and come in recyclable packaging. While this is definitely a step in the right direction, most of these cleaners don't offer the most effective cleaning, and they also come with quite a hefty price tag. There have been many occasions when I have been totally disappointed with the performance of eco-friendly cleaners. I have found that I ended up needing to three times more cleaner and still only achieved mediocre results, at best. Not to mention the excessive elbow grease required when using these products! There has GOT to be a better eco-friendly alternative, right? Well there is, and I would love to tell you all about it! It's all about finding a smarter cleaner. iQ Cleaners are just that. What makes iQ Cleaners so unique? To put it simply: Everything! First of all, iQ Cleaners are completely non-toxic. This means you won't find any hard to pronounce, harmful chemicals in their products. And you'll find no creepy skull and crossbones indicating poison on their labels. iQ Cleaners are made from natural, sustainable, environmentally friendly ingredients that also pack a punch. These really WORK! What's the point of having a clean home if it's filled with toxins? Also, iQ Cleaners are made in an eco-friendly manner. These cleaners feature reusable bottles that take tiny little refill cartridges. Since there is far less packaging, there are less trucks on the road, less harmful emissions produced, and less waste. Since there is less overall cost in producing iQ Cleaners, these savings are passed on to you, the consumer. So not only are iQ Cleaners leaving behind a smaller carbon footprint, they are also a wonderful value that can save you hundreds of dollars in the long run. Now that's something I can feel good about! But the most important part? These products really work! As a matter of fact, they are 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed. This aren't your typical green cleaners, my friends. These are effective, and do their jobs quickly, saving you valuable time and money. I have been using iQ Cleaners for over a month now, and I have been pleasantly surprised at just how well these products clean the surfaces in my home. I use the All Purpose Cleaner in almost every room, and love the results. I also use their Bathroom Cleaner on even the toughest jobs, and it works like a charm removing soap scum and general bathroom ickiness. Last but not least, their Glass Cleaner is fantastic in removing paw prints, dirt, pollen, and more from my windows! I love these cleaners, and am so glad I have found them. Not only am I doing my part for the environment by choosing iQ Cleaners, I am also helping to ensure that my children and pets are living in a safe, toxin-free environment. I would definitely recommend iQ Cleaners to anyone who has questioned the way they clean their homes. I think you'll be just as pleased as I am with the results. I always wonder when I pick up a "safer/green" product if they actually are any safer, or if they are simply marketing it as safer. Also, just like the article says, they generally don't work as well.

I have questioned why one should pay so much when there are cheap natural ingredients like citrus oils and vinegar. jsbecker29 at gmail dot com

I've questioned if greener cleaner products really disinfect...from my understanding that is questionable, but I do use a greener cleaner product for my bathtub. I once used a regular product and got a chemical burn, so did my baby. I find the greener cleaner washes away better and there is less chance of a chemical burn.

I have used 7th Generation products before and have always been pleased. Sometimes I wonder if the "green" products are out there to help be green or are companies just jumping on the bandwagon. I'd love to give another green product a shot, the selection where I live is generally limited.

I have been using green cleaners exclusively for almost 10 years. My favorite brand is Sun & Earth, but I have also had great luck and love the brands Seventh Generation, Ecos, and many others. I have had some issues finding a good toilet/bathtub cleaner, as well as a good dishwasher soap, but am happy with my current brands for the most part. A little more elbow grease is a small price to pay for a healthier home and planet.
