In Honor Of The Tatas Sponsor Spotlight And EARLY ENTRIES: The Willow Store

Who could be part of a Breast Cancer Awareness event without thinking about The Willow Store? The Willow Store, for those of you who reside under a rock, (just kidding.)  is a fantastic online store that offers organic, all natural personal and baby care items. Among their most popular items? Their Organic Nursing Pads. of course!

Any mama out there knows how essential good nursing pads are postpartum. After a woman gives birth, she begins lactating. For a new mom, this can be excruciating initially, and full of not-so-pleasant surprises. Like engorgement, (ouch!) soreness, and yes, even leaky breasts. Or should I say spraying, leaky breasts? Without proper protection, a mama's breastmilk can be a source of embarrassment for some women, especially if it leaks and saturates the clothing. When I was nursing, I remember experiencing some leakage in public one time, and the entire front of my shirt was soaked. I was absolutely mortified! And I also realized that my disposable nursing pads were not performing their duties well at all. So I began looking for more durable, eco-friendly alternatives.

That's when I first discovered The Willow Store. The Willow Store is committed to supporting a Reusable Future. The Earth is not disposable—and we need to treat her with the respect that she deserves, with reusable products that are sustainable for the environment and our economy. Reusables are our future, and The Willow Store is  passionate about making a difference, for our children, and for the Earth. With Nursing Pads, Mama Pads, and even a line of cloth diapers, The Willow Store is a leader in providing families with organic and reusable personal care items. And all of their products are made right here in the USA, which is wonderful in supporting our economy.

I received a 4 Pack of the Willow Sprouts Organic Cotton Nursing Pads for my review. These nursing pads are made from 100% Organic Cotton, are super-trim, and are incredibly soft to the touch. I am already a fan of organic cotton and am aware of just how absorbent this material can be. Unfortunately, I am no longer nursing, but I passed them along to a friend who is so I could receive her honest feedback.

Take a look at this nursing pad. These are very well made, and will provide years of use. Since they're reusable, they can even be passed on to friends and family who are new parents!

I wish you could feel this through the screen. It's velvety soft and wonderful against the skin!
BUT DO THEY WORK?

A good friend who is nursing has been kind enough to test the Willow Sprouts Organic Cotton Nursing Pads for me. She has been using them for a month or so now, and absolutely loves them! She has indicated that these are the softest, most comfortable nursing pads she has had the opportunity to try. They are generously sized, yet remain all but invisible underneath clothing. They are also very absorbent, eliminating embarrassing leakage issues. She also stated that she loves the fact that these nursing pads are washable and reusable. This is not only better for the environment, but can potentially save quite a bit of money, too! These pads also wash well, and become even softer the more they are washed and reused. What's not to love about that?!

I would definitely recommend The Willow Store for any expectant or nursing mamas out there looking for a wonderful nursing pad. The Willow Sprout has received an enthusiastic A++ from the team here, and I just know you'll love them, too! I also recommend checking out their line of mama pads and cloth diapers, too! The Sprout Change is a brand I have not tried yet, and I'd love to hear about your experiences with this diaper, for those who have used them before. Anyway, hop on over to The Willow Store and find out how you can have a Reusable Future, too!

BUY IT:

You can purchase these and other great sustainable products on The Willow Store's website. You can also check out their list of retailers to find these products near you!

You can also follow The Willow Store on Facebook and on twitter to stay on top of their latest products and promotions!

WIN IT....BUT NOT YET!

During my upcoming In Honor Of The Tatas event, someone is going to win a 4-Pair Package of Willow Sprouts Organic Cotton Nursing Pads of their own, courtesy of the generous folks at The Willow Store! How cool is that!? This is a fabulous addition to my gigantic prize package that will be sure to make any mama happy!

I have some extra entries available to you for the time being. These will be imported and merged with the actual event entries, so be sure to take advantage of these and give yourself a head start!
