As the mom of 2 babies, I have often been envious of the kids since they spend most of their time wearing soft, comfy footed pajamas. You know the ones I mean, right? They usually have a zipper or snaps up the front, are made of plush, luxurious fleece, and have feet built right in to keep those tootsies warm when the nights get colder. Some of them even have a butt flap so you will never have to take them off. Yep, you can use the restroom without your feet ever touching the freezing cold bathroom floor. So of course, the babies are living a life of total comfort in their footies.
Recently I was thrilled to discover Pajama City. This company offers adorable footed pajamas for adults! They have a ton of fun options, too. From standard footed pajamas to hooded PJ's and even some with the butt-flap, they have something that is sure to suit every taste. There are classic solid pajamas, as well as a ton of fun, funky prints. My personal favorites are all of their Monkey PJ's as well as the Cute Emo Skulls design, seen in the photo to the left. My husband is obsessed with wolves, and they even offer a wolf design. They have Halloween options, too!
I received some samples from Pajama City, and I have to say I am in love with these PJ's! When they first arrived, my husband laughed at me. He thought an adult wearing footies was hilarious. But then he snuggled up to me and saw how soft they were and he changed his tune. Now he says they're "oddly sexy in a non-pedophile sort of way." They are ridiculously soft, very warm, and are the perfect answer to a blanket stealing husband. When I wear my footies to bed, even if Dan hogs the blanket and wraps himself up like a snoring burrito, I still feel like I have a blanket, therefore I don't wake up and attempt to kick him out of the bed and take back what's rightfully mine. My adult footed pajamas from Pajama City are made of a wonderful fleece and are very well constructed. They feel terrific against the skin, and are basically the epitome of comfort. The only thing I would change? The velcro closures to the butt flap. There are 4 thin strips of velcro that secure the drop down panel, and they can open up with movement like rolling around or shifting in a seat. I have not had a major wardrobe malfunction, but I have had 1 or 2 of them open at one time. I'd love it if snaps were incorporated into future designs. Or perhaps even a zipper.
Here are some of my favorite styles from Pajama City:
Overall, I absolutely adore my footed pajamas from Pajama City. They are snuggly soft, adorable, and are pretty much guaranteed to keep you warm when the cooler weather sets in. I could wear these 24/7, but I don't want to end up on The People Of Walmart website. These pajamas are a guilty pleasure, and a way to remain young at heart. I'd definitely recommend Pajama City to anyone looking for the coziest PJ's around. These would also make a fantastic gift for the person in your life who has it all. Try them! You'll love them!
