So anyone who knows me is well aware that I have been incredibly stressed-out lately. We're preparing to move out of state, and it feels like there's so much to do and so little time to do it in. Getting moving boxes, packing, ensuring my husband's job transfer, finding and closing on a home, and all in less than 3 months. Eeek! I swear, I don't know how military families do it! (My sister-in-law told me that sometimes military families have to figure it all out in a mere 30 days!)
Add to that taking care of my 3 kids, my home, and the blog, and I have been extremely overwhelmed lately. I've also been wishing I could have oompa-loompa type helpers to assist in taking some of the load off of my shoulders. Or perhaps the band of helpful mice from Cinderella....Or maybe even the animated furniture from Beauty and the Beast! But fairy take characters simply don't exist, right? I mean, they are fun to think about, but they only live in the hearts and imaginations of the very young. Right?
Well, that's what I thought....Before I was paid a visit by the Fairy Hobmother! Friday morning, I received the following e-mail in my inbox:
"I'm the Fairy Hobmother, spreading light and joy throughout the blogosphere with the help of talented bloggers like you! I stumbled across your blog today and felt that you deserved a little recognition for your blogging efforts, so I decided that I would send you a gift"
You see, the Fairy Hobmother and the Fairy Overlords make it their mission to spread joy and kindness throughout the blogosphere. They have an ongoing mission to reward deserving bloggers with treats and surprises, simply for doing what they do every single day.
How stinking cool is that?! It definitely made my day to be recognized for my work and efforts, and it couldn't have come at a better time. The Fairy Hobmother made my day just a little bit brighter, and put a smile upon my face. Hey, maybe I have even started to believe in fairies again!
Would YOU like a visit from the Fairy Hobmother yourself? Simply leave a comment here with your blog info, and he may just pay you a surprise visit as well! Oh, yes....The Fairy Hobmother is indeed a HE..Unconventional? Perhaps. But magic and joy knows no gender! I imagine he looks much like the hunky fairy at the head of the post!
Leave your comments below for the Fairy Hobmother to see! He WILL be back, and will be selecting more people to receive his magical gifts and blessings!
