Holiday Gift Idea: Step2 Art Master Activity Desk GIVEAWAY! 12/22

You all know by now that I love Step2 products. Okay, now that that's out of the way, I want to talk about ART!

My toddlers love being creative. They like to draw, paint, and play with Play-Doh, and this can sometimes become a very messy endeavor. Especially considering they're still pretty young and aren't the most organized of people just yet. What ends up happening when he have art project days? Well, I end up with markers, crayons, and paint scattered everywhere. I end up going on a scavenger hunt to recover all of our art supplies, all the while praying that our 3 mischievous puppies haven't "claimed" any for themselves. Then I have to rush around making sure everything is put away, and nothing else is left where the pups can get it. (Yes, I do realize that having 2 toddlers and 3 puppies in the house at the same time probably means I classify as being just a little bit insane!)

That's why I was so excited to learn about the Step2 Art Master Activity Desk. This sturdy desk is not only a great place for your kids to do various art projects, it also offers a ton of storage for all your supplies. There are places to put markers, crayons, paint and brushes, clay, and even a ton of built-in storage for coloring books! If that wasn't cool enough, there is also a lift-top dry erase board and a light so coloring in the dark is easy as pie. In addition to all these cool features, it also comes with a comfy stool to sit on. Yep, this baby literally has it all! Okay...Art supplies aren't included, but if you're anything like me, you've already got an abundance of them!

We received an Art Master Activity Desk to review, and as expected, it was super-simple to assemble. This is one of my favorite things about Step2 products. You don't have to be a mechanical engineer to put them together! My husband had our art desk assembled and ready to go within mere minutes.

And here it is all put together! As you can see, the light is on, too. This is a great feature that is easy for even the littlest artists to operate. It goes on and off with the push of a button. Please note: The light does require 3AAA batteries for operation.

We immediately loaded our desk with some basic art supplies like markers, crayons, chalk and paper. We didn't put the paints out because with 2 toddlers, paint is not necessarily the best thing to just leave accessible. That could end up more than a little bit disastrous!

There are other compartments under the board as well.

On each leg, there are roomy bins for coloring books, construction paper, and more!

How cool is this desk?! We absolutely love the convenience of it and how it allows us to keep our art supplies organized in one place. This makes clean up a breeze, and allows the kids to help, too! It seems that when everything has a clear place, kids naturally put things back where they belong.

Overall, we absolutely love the Step2 Art Master Activity Desk. It is durable, functional, and allows my kids to have their own special place to engage in creative play. Of course this desk, like all other Step2 products, is built to last, and can be passed down through many children. I would definitely recommend this product for all those kids on Santa's Nice List this year.
