***I received complimentary samples to facilitate my review. No other compensation was provided and all opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** With 3 kids, we spend a lot of time playing. After all, there are plenty of ways to making learning fun! We love going on Nature Scavenger Hunts, cooking and measuring in the kitchen together, and of course there's reading time. Another way we love to connect as a family is by playing games together. I prefer games that are not only fun, but educational, too. Sometimes it's hard to find a game that everyone can play, since we have a teen and 2 preschoolers. They're definitely on very different levels academically and developmentally. Luckily, the folks at Simply Fun have creative, educational games that the whole entire family can enjoy. With great titles like Fourmation and Tibbar's Find My ABCs and Tibbar's Find My 123s and many, many more, you're sure to find something that everyone in your family will enjoy. About Simply Fun : SimplyFun is a young company with a big heart and even bigger dreams to make this world a better place through play. Our team of Playologists take pride in finding the perfect game that fits your family, classroom or occupational needs. And becoming a Playologist at SimplyFun means you can earn a significant income while making PLAY your life's work! As a Playologist you can personally contribute to the success of children and families everywhere, making a difference that will last a lifetime! It is often the smallest things that can hold a child back, like not understanding alphabet sequencing or place holder value in math. Down the road those early stumbling blocks turn into bigger issues such as"I don't like reading" or "I'm not good at math." How sad to hear children (and adults!) use those words. At SimplyFun we want to give parents the opportunity to identify kids' challenges early. Family play allows parents to see where gaps may exist and take corrective action that help kids keep moving forward in their development. Like me, I'm sure that you have observed families where communication if it happens, does so via text and email. Can we really appreciate the joy and pain of another person using just those tools? Or do we desire the kind of deeper connections to family and community that only personal face to face interaction can bring? Moments of laugher together are some of the most cherished memories that we make. It is so important that SimplyFun has designed its games to fit into your busy life and to be engaging for young and old alike so that you may experience those special moments with your loved ones. Our award-winning products (over 50 awards in 2012) meet the needs of today's parents to connect with their children, and participate in their learning not as tutors but as partners. Play is such an important part of the academic, social and emotional learning processes that SimplyFun games are now finding their way into classrooms and learning programs across the country. But there is more to be done! You can help us give kids and families a step up towards success by making play an essential component of your daily life. We invite you to join our SimplyFun family either as a Playologist sharing these award-winning products or as a Fan that enjoys SimplyFun play in their home and spread the word that PLAY is the answer! Tibbar's Find My ABC's and 123's: We received 2 great games from Simply Fun to check out for ourselves. We chose Fourmation so my teen could have fun playing, as well as Tibbar's Find my ABCs and Find My 123s for our preschoolers. Together in one bundle, Tibbar's Find My ABCs and Find My 123s will take your child on a learning adventure. Your pre-schooler will delight in assembling each oversized floor puzzle while learning the alphabet, numbers 1 thru 10, and colors at the same time! Daddy had to help get the borders in place on these puzzles, but once he did, Sophie and Xander jumped in to fill in the remaining pieces. Here is the Find My ABCs puzzle. I just love the vibrant colors and the fact that each letter has a picture of something that starts with the letter. This is great for teaching word/sound association. There is also the great Find My 123's puzzle. This is set up very similarly, but features numbers rather than letters. These puzzles are fantastic for teaching sequencing and letter/number recognition. My little ones were able to identity their letters and numbers quite well, and they were very proud when they knew exactly which piece came next in the left to right sequencing. Once the puzzles were together, Sophie and Xander had a blast finding letters and thinking of words that begin with the letter. Okay, Sophie was much better at this part since she is a year older than Xander, but he held his own quite well! As you can see, my little man was so happy to point and speak each letter. Every time he got them right, we'd just clap and cheer. Talk about making learning fun and boosting self-esteem! Overall, I would definitely recommend this game for any families with young children. It's tons of fun, and it also teaches kids their ABCs and 123s in an engaging, hands on manner. Fourmation : Fourmation is an amazing new game that elegantly combines math with strategy. The object is to connect four zones in a row: up, down or diagonally. But in order to place your colored marker, you'll have to make the number on the desired spot from the sum of one or more of the number cards in your hand. Outnumber all other players in a contested zone to put it back under your control and complete the winning "fourmation"! The game board can be turned and rearranged to create a different layout every time. This is a fun alternative to flash cards for upper level addition that your kids will love. We chose Fourmation because it looked like a game that we could play with our soon to be 14 year old, Kyle. He doesn't like "baby games", so he was very excited that we got a game that could challenge his much more mature mind. The object of the game is to take over 4 zones in a row and win the game. This game requires the use of basic math, strategy, and quick thinking. As you can see, even the little ones wanted to watch the action unfold as Kyle and Daddy went to battle! I hate to say it, but Daddy won every time so far...Which Kyle didn't enjoy. But fun was had by all, and one round just isn't enough. You want to keep playing this fast-paced strategy game! We really loved Fourmation, too. This game is definitely an adventure, and is sure to bring smiles to any who play. It teaches great math skills, critical thinking, and how to think ahead strategically. Plus, it's just plain fun. I would definitely recommend checking out all the awesome games from Simply Fun while you're doing your holiday shopping. You're sure to find something amazing for everyone on your gift lists! How to Connect : You can check out the awesomeness that is Simply Fun on their website. You can also connect with them on Facebook and on twitter to stay on top of their latest products and promotions! Enter to WIN : I am thrilled to announce that one lucky reader will receive both of these great games from the generous folks at Simply Fun!
