(Unless they've been living under a rock somewhere.) The reason that this brand is basically a household name is because that for a whopping 96 years, they have been delighting children with their little red wagons, tricycles, and more! When I was a little girl, I am pretty sure we had a Radio Flyer wagon. I used to live at the bottom of a dead end street, and we would race our bikes and wagons down the hill. (This sometimes ended in injury, but we were kids, and it was all good fun.) Even though I am a little bit older now and have kids of my own, Radio Flyer is still going strong. In fact, they have more innovative new products than ever! For example, their brand new EZ Fold Stroll 'N Trike is a product that can be used for several years since it actually grows with your child! That's right! This product can be used from about 9 months all the way up to around 5 years! How cool is that?! As you can see, it easily switches between for different models. For the youngest children, there is an attachable safety tray with cup holder, much like that of a bouncer. The parent can buckle their child in, and use the handle to push, much like a stroller. The next step up is very similar, but without the plastic tray. Then remove the canopy and high-back seat and your little one can learn to ride while Mom or dad pushes. Then, finally, you've got a "big kid trike." To see the EZ Fold Stroll 'N Trike in action, check out this brief video introduction from Radio Flyer : Our Review : Pretty awesome, right?! The generous folks at Radio Flyer sent us a EZ Fold Stroll 'N Trike to try out for ourselves. Sophie and Xander are both well within the age range to enjoy this, so of course they were delighted when it showed up on our doorstep. First, we assembled it on the setting for the youngest children. My littles are older than this obviously, but I wanted to give you a feel for what each setting looks like. As you can see, there is a plastic safety tray that keeps baby secure and gives them something to help balance with. There is also a cup holder to hold sippies and bottles. There is an adjustable Steer and Stroll parent handle so an infant or toddler can be pushed as though they were in a stroller. I would totally rock this in the grocery store! There is also a canopy to protect from the sun or rain. One thing I absolutely love about this product is the fact that it has a place to store things like snacks, my iPhone, keys, toys, etc... These can all be stowed away safely in this sleek looking zippered pouch. It's not too terribly large, but it's definitely big enough to handle the essentials. The next setting is much like the first. The only difference is that the plastic enclosure is removed. This setting is ideal for kids around 2-ish, I would assume. We have pushed Xander around the neighborhood on this setting, and he absolutely loved it! He's not quite tall enough to pedal himself, so being able to push him was a treat! The next setting is also simple to achieve. This setting is just like the last one, but with the canopy removed. This is another setting that would be ideal for my 2 year old, Xander. And last but certainly not least, you've got a big kid trike. Once you remove the parent handle, the little ones are on their own to ride around the neighborhood or driveway. My soon to be 4 year old, Sophie, loves this setting the best. She is very independent and doesn't want help from Mommy and Daddy. She wants to pedal herself. It's funny watching her try and get going. It takes her a few minutes to situate herself so she can pedal the trike. You see, my little ones are both pretty small for their ages. (My husband and I are not tall people.) So while some kids may be able to use this toy until age 5, I have the suspicion that my munchkins will be able to ride it a wee bit longer than that! Sophie and Xander both absolutely love the EZ Fold Stroll 'N Trike. They love riding on their own, or in Xander's case, being pushed around in it. I love the fact that this is an all-in-one product that grows and changes with your children. This makes the investment well worth it, in my opinion. Plus the versatility allows me to use one trike for both of my little ones, all by just adding or removing a piece or two. Genius! I would definitely recommend the Radio Flyer EZ Fold Stroll 'N Trike for anyone with an infant or small child. This would make an amazing Holiday gift this year! And since it's made by Radio Flyer, who is known worldwide for their quality, this is built to last for years! How to Connect : You can check out the awesomeness that is Radio Flyer on their website.
