![]() As a parent, I take tons of photos. I do mean TONS. From the day my 3 kids were born, I have been behind the camera, incessantly snapping away. Babies change rapidly, so I love to capture memories and milestones. I even like getting those potential blackmail photos to use later on in life, like my toddlers covered in food or wearing a diaper on their heads. (Hey, if you can't have fun with your kids, what's the point in being a parent?!) Since photography has basically gone completely digital, more and more people store their precious photos on their computers. The upside is that it's super convenient and easy to share photos with family and friends. The downside is that if a computer crashes, all of these photos can be lost forever. To help safeguard photos, it's always a good idea to store them in an alternate place. Importing them can be a tedious process, though. Until now, that is! The folks at Picture Keeper offer an easy to use, foolproof solution to help keep all of those treasured memories safe. Picture Keeper offers 5 great products that give you the ability to back up between 4,000 and a whopping 250,000 photos. These simply plug into any USB port and automatically locate and copy your photos. Easy peasy! These are wonderful for family photos, hobbyists, and even professional photographers alike! Here's more about Picture Keeper: Based in Atlanta, GA with offices in Colorado, Simplified I.T. Products, LLC is a pioneer in developing simple, affordable solutions for the mass market. Picture Keeper is the world’s first all-in-one USB device with embedded software to protect pictures and other irreplaceable files. Picture Keeper is currently available in over 4000 U.S. retail locations including Walgreens, Archiver’s, Hobby Lobby, RadioShack stores and many independent Photo retailers and Scrapbooking stores. Picture Keeper products are also available in the UK, Canada, Guatemala, New Zealand and Australia. Also, you can purchase Picture Keeper from many widely distributed catalogs such as Crutchfield, Hammacher Schlemmer, National Geographic, Sharper Image, Solutions and Stoneberry. Recently, I received their best-seller, the PK4 for my review. This is a perfect fit for my family and will store up to 4,000 photos. (based on an average size of 1 MB per picture) It arrived very quickly, and was ready to use. The PK4 comes on a handy lanyard for easy access, and also has a cap to keep it from getting damaged. I love the fact that it has the company name on it, since this will keep me from confusing it with similar USB drives that I have. The PK4 has a 4GB capacity, and plugs directly into the USB port on any computer or laptop. All you need to do is plug it in, and it locates all of your photos for you. No work required, simply plug it in and let the Picture Keeper do its magic! Overall, I love this product! It's so easy to use, and I have peace of mind that all of my priceless photos are safe from any technological mishaps that may occur. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants a simple way to keep all of those cherished memories safe. This would also make a great stocking stuffer this Holiday se

Twice, sadly. I was at Disney World the first time for my high school graduation, and I lost the photo card with all the pictures from it. I cried my eyes out. It was pictures of my sister, my mom, and me, and it was the only trip we've ever gotten to go on together just the 3 of us. Still hurts my stomach to think about it. The second time was last year when my computer (which worked great all the time) just decided to not let me open it up. I can't get into it. So all of my pictures from my entire life that I'd had on that computer are gone.
