Holiday Gift Idea: Lincoln Logs Collector's Edition Village Plus GIVEAWAY #Sponsored 12/511/19/2015 ***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my review. No other compensation was provided. All opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.***
When I was a kid, I remember building log cabins and villages with my brother using Lincoln Logs. This was one of the few activities we could do together without trying to kill one another. Ahh, the joys of sibling rivalry. I'm sure some of you can relate, right? Anyway, Lincoln Logs were one toy that my little brother on I could agree to play with together, and we usually did so peacefully.
So of course, now that I have my own kids, who coincidentally also love to fight with one another, we have a nice collection of Lincoln Logs for them to play with. Lincoln Logs are a wonderful way to encourage creativity and imagination, and they also help with fine motor skills and critical thinking. Kids love fitting these logs together and creating houses, sheds, stables, and more. Really, there are no limits to what kids can create with Lincoln Logs. They can make anything they can imagine! How fun is that?!
Recently, we added the Lincoln Logs Collector's Edition Village to our stash of Lincoln Logs. One of the biggest LINCOLN LOGS® set ever created, including real wood LINCOLN LOGS®! This set is 100% made in the U.S.A and includes 327 LINCOLN LOGS® pieces. Packaged in a large, collectible tin which provides fast and easy clean-up. Most models can be built one at a time.
Sophie and Xander absolutely LOVE this set! It comes with well over 300 pieces, so there's no arguing about who needs what pieces. There's more than enough to go around!
I also love the fact that since these are genuine Lincoln Logs, they are very smooth and don't have any sharp edges. Splinters aren't any fun, so I am very picky when it comes to the wooden toys I purchase. Lincoln Logs are free of such dangers, since they are so well made.
Take a look at the fun village we built using the Lincoln Logs Collector's Edition Village set! Here you see houses, a general store, fences, and even benches for townspeople to relax on as they watch the hustle and bustle of town life.
Lincoln Logs are a great choice for creative kiddos this Holiday season. Not only are they durable and easy to use, they are also a proven classic. I loved playing with Lincoln Logs when I was a child, and it tickles me to see my own children so enamored by these much loved children's toys.
If you're looking for the ultimate gift this Holiday season, definitely check out the Lincoln Logs Collector's Edition Village. You're sure to bring tons of smiles and hours of creative play with this amazing set! How to Connect:
You can check out this set and other great Lincoln Logs products on the KNEX Lincoln Logs website and at toy retailers near you!
