***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my review. No other compensation was provided, and all opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** My preschoolers, Sophie and Xander, are a bit obsessed with 2 things right now: Dolls and Disney. They really love watching their favorite princess movies like The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast and Snow White. They dance and sing along to the songs, and they cheer when there's a happy ending. So when I learned about Fairy Tale High dolls, I just knew my kids would flip over them. You see, these unique and chic dolls depict our favorite Disney princesses during their High School years. These favorite characters have trendy, modern looks with plenty of sass and attitude. I just love their youthful, updated appearances. These dolls take classic fairy tales to an exciting new relatable level for modern day girls. Oops, and boys. My son loves his dollies just as much as his sister does, and I think there's no harm in boys playing with dolls, too. Especially when it means the kids play nicely together without any yelling or hitting. That's always a huge plus! In addition to fun dolls, the Fairy Tale High website is full of cool webisodes and e-books that feature each doll and her unique personality. What a great way to bring Fairy Tale High dolls to life in a High School setting! We received 2 fabulous Fairy Tale High dolls to check out for ourselves. To my delight, they were Snow White and Cinderella, a couple of our household favorites! As you can see, these princesses have a fun, youthful look. I just adore Snow White's boots and red highlights! And Cinderella looks totally glam with her frosty blue highlights and striped leggings. These are outfits similar to what real teens would wear, but with a fun, fantasy twist. These dolls are very well made and have a lot of fun, feminine details that make them super special. Check out Snow White's plaid skirt and yellow cropped sweater. Oh, and of course all the cute accessories that complete her look! Cinderella is rocking out with her mp3 player and headphones. She looks ready to dance the night away in her cute tutu-style skirt. And yes, she does come equipped with "glass slippers", too! I am being the sneaky Mommy right now...You see, these dolls will be Sophie's Christmas gifts. So of course, I couldn't let her see them yet. I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise! So I teamed up with Xander while Sophie was napping so I could get his initial reaction to the Fairy Tale High Dolls. Xander, even at almost 3, immediately recognized Snow White. I was pretty impressed! When I told him the other doll was Cinderella, he smiled and smiled and got really excited. He loves Cinderella! I asked Xander if he thought Sophie would like these dollies for Christmas. Of course he said she would. And then he told me we need more Fairy Tale High Dolls for Xander. Uh-oh! It looks like my Christmas shopping isn't done yet, after all! I think I will pick up Belle and TinkerBell, too! Overall, I am absolutely thrilled with the Fairy Tale High Dolls. They're fun and fresh, and sure to delight any Disney or fashion fans out there! Be sure to check them out while you do your Holiday shopping this year!
