***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my review. No other compensation was provided, and all opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** With 2 preschoolers and a teenager to shop for, it's sometimes hard to find one place to get quality gifts for all of them. Gifts for all of them that actually encourage creativity and learning? Now that's even a more difficult task. Obviously my teen already knows his ABC's and 123's, just like my preschoolers aren't ready for Algebra. The difference between these age groups is like night and day. So when I learned about the awesome, educational gifts at Museum Tour, I was beyond excited. They offer tons of high quality toys and gifts that satisfy all interests and age groups. From art to science to paleontology and even detective gear, they have it all. No, really. They do! Where else could I find this awesome Living Sands set for my little boy... And this Sew Fun Machine Set for my little girl? Okay, maybe she's a little young for it...I am thinking a head a bit! But the best part about Museum Tour, in my opinion? They actually have gifts that hard to shop for teens and tweens will love. My 13 year old is horrible to shop for since he's "too old" for many toys, and his taste in clothing and music changes frequently. Museum Tour has things like this awesome Chaos Tower that are sure to delight even my fickle teen! More about that in a minute, though. First, let me tell you a bit more about Museum Tour! About Museum Tour : The Museum Tour website and catalog is the brainchild of a former museum director. As a former educator and president of the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, she recognized a need for enjoyable, easy to communicate teaching aides to assist parents in fulfilling their role as primary educators. After all, in every generation parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents have taken on the responsibility of insuring that the children become contributing members of society. But the training tools they used were found in the kitchen, garage, and farmyard. Today, to compete globally, we need modern props (that are rapidly changing) to assist our children's learning. The Museum Tour website and annual catalog make it easy for adults to create enjoyable learning opportunities for children beyond the museum and science center walls. Visit them today at www.MuseumTour.com. Our Review of the Chaos Tower : Like I mentioned, I would love to tell you all about the Chaos Tower. We received this amazing construction toy for review, and I knew my teen would love it. Kyle is very hands on and loves creating things, so this product was a natural choice. Plus, it helps kids learn about the forces of kinetic energy! That's right, this product is basically a hands-on science lab that makes learning fun and engaging for kids of all ages. How cool is that?! Here is some info about the Chaos Tower: This ingenious kinetic ball system can be put together with infinite variety. The Chaos Tower with chain-drive lift is the largest ball machine available. Numerous stunt pieces create fascinating constructions. Chaos, the ultimate construction toy, is used by over 2,000 schools and gifted programs. Contains 602 pieces. Kyle couldn't wait to open the box and get started building! The neat thing about the Chaos Tower is that there is no one right way to construct it. Kids can get creative and build it any way they'd like! Did I mention that it's motorized? That's right! This awesome toy allows you to basically build a complex, motorized track that a ball will go through at some very high speeds. (If you build it right!) Kyle chose to build a vertical tower. Wow, is this thing tall! Once he had the frame assembled, he took some time to consult the instructions to set up "obstacle courses" for the ball. After spending a few days tweaking his creation, Kyle was finally ready to unveil his Chaos Tower. I love how he set up all of the tracks to accommodate the speeding ball. The coolest part of the whole contraption is the motorized lift. As you can see, the ball is almost to the top and ready to race down the track! Once the ball gets to the bottom of the tower, it is automatically fed to the motorized lift to start all over again! This is non-stop fun for not only the builder, but also for anyone who happens to see this fantastic tower! My little ones love watching the Chaos Tower in action, and so, unfortunately, do my kittens! Overall, we absolutely love the Chaos Tower...And everything else from Museum Tour! I could spend hours on their website just browsing their comprehensive collection of educational, creative, and explorative toys and gifts!
