***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my review. No other compensation was provided, and all opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** Now that Thanksgiving has passed, although maybe the indigestion hasn't quite yet, shopping season is in full swing. I couldn't believe the images filling my timeline last night showing hordes of super-motivated shoppers crowding into major retailers looking to save a few bucks. All I can say is WOW! I am not going to lie...I hate crowds, so I generally do all of my Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping online. That way, I can still score some great deals without having to fight for parking or play Tug O' War with other shoppers trying to grab the last (insert hot gift here) off of the shelves. For those who enjoy that kind of thing, have fun! For me, ehhh... No thanks! I will shop at 2:00AM, from my couch, in my footie pajamas. One of my favorite retailers for kids' gifts is CPToys. They offer a huge variety of toys, puzzles, games and more from some of the hottest brands like Playmobil, Melissa & Doug, and LEGO, just to name a few. Many of their products are quite unique and cannot be found at big box retailers! Check out this oh-so-gorgeous Electronic Grand Piano, for example! More about that in a minute, though. About CPToys : CP Toys is a division of Constructive Playthings. US Toy/Constructive Playthings is a family owned business serving loyal customers since 1953! They strive to inspire learning, creativity, and fun by offering a unique mix of high quality products with unparalleled play value for children. They also commit to never, ever selling any violent toys. This is something I appreciate as a parent very much. Yep, I am one of those "strict moms" who doesn't allow gun play, violent video games, movies, or television shows.(Not even violent cartoons!) You won't find any bloodied action figures in my home wielding gamma ray laser guns, and the most "violent" video games I will allow my kids to play are Mario and Pokemon. (And in Pokemon games, the defeated creatures "faint" rather than die.) I truly believe that kids should be allowed to be KIDS....without all of the violence and ugliness found in so many programs and toys geared towards children nowadays. So naturally, I love companies that believe in preserving the innocence and wonder that is naturally present in our children. Aside from being a company that adheres to promoting positive values, their selection of toys are amazing! They have so much to offer for kids of all ages, and each and every one of their products encourage imaginative play as well as hands on learning. Their toys are high quality, colorful, and are sure to become fast favorites for boys and girls alike! They have a ton of different product categories that are sure to address every area of interest. I particularly love their building toys, their musical toys, and their science and nature toys. They even have art supplies and toys for those budding Picasso's out there! CP Toys literally has it all! Our Review of the Electronic Grand Piano : We received the Electronic Grand Piano to check out for ourselves. This arrived with lightning speed, and was very well packaged. My husband was able to assemble this in a matter of moments, and it was ready to play! This piano is very realistic looking, and is modeled after real grand pianos. This allows kids to have a more authentic creative play experience. The plastic is very durable, and the bench seat is quite stable, too. This keyboard comes complete with 37 electronically tuned keys and detachable, sing-along microphone. Whether playing with the 15 demos or as a real piano, kids will add their own orchestration choosing from 24 rhythmic, instrumental and background accents from the push-button console. Includes record and playback features. In sturdy plastic it stands 19" W. x 15 ΒΌ" D. x 28" H. Plastic stool included. Minimal assembly. Uses 3 "AA" batteries (not incl.). Ages 3 yrs. Sophie and Xander both absolutely love music, so they were really excited to sit down and play a tune. I love the fact that this toy includes 15 demo songs, since it allows my little ones to sing along to actual music using the microphone. Of course kids can come up with their own melodies by playing the keyboard themselves, too! This is a great way to introduce a love of music at an early age. I was also shocked to see that this is one toy that my kids will actually share and play nicely with. Check out Sophie playing the keyboard while Xander sings "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" on the microphone. I think we may have another Donny and Marie on our hands here! Well, maybe someday..... Overall, we definitely love the Electronic Grand Piano from CPToys. This little gem is not only very well made, it also has a ton of great features that let kids feel like the star of the show. Maybe I can book Sophie and Xander's "act" to play dinner parties in my home! I think they, and our guests, would definitely get a kick out of that! I would definitely recommend CPToys if you're looking for unique, creative gifts for the little ones in your life. They do have retail locations, but why brave the crowds when you can shop online? Check them out, and I am sure you'll be absolutely delighted with what you find! How to Connect : You can check out the awesomeness that is CP Toys on their website. You can also connect with them on Facebook and on twitter to stay on top of their latest products and promotions! You can also check out the CPToy Blog! Enter to WIN! I am thrilled to announce that one lucky reader will receive an Electronic Grand Piano of their own!
