***I received complimentary samples to facilitate my review. No other compensation was provided, and all opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** ![]() I am a bit of a beauty and skincare junkie. I have been obsessed with fragrances, lotions, serums and more as long as I can remember. In fact, my "stash", as my husband calls it, fills one bathroom's storage completely, and then there's more in my room and in the pantry. I just love trying and using different products, and finding the perfect combination for my own skin. We're all different, after all! So when I learned about the brand new skin care products by accént™ skin care, I was definitely interested in checking them out. Their Cleansing Wash and Moisturizing Lotion have been creating quite the stir online recently, so I definitely was eager to see for myself what all the hype was about. About accént™ Skin Care Products : Your skin is a complex organ: your largest organ, covering the entire external surface of your body. It protects your body from the environment. Cleansing and moisturizing are key ways to help maintain your skin's natural protective function, while also helping enhance its appearance. New accént™ Moisturizing Lotion and accent Cleansing Wash, the only line of moisturizers and cleansers to utilize Protease Technology, a proprietary blend of plant-based enzymes, amino acids and moisturizers that work in concert offering a skincare regimen like no other product. Developed with dermatologists, accént™ skincare products include niacinamide (a form of vitamin B3) which helps to activate skin’s natural ability to produce ceramides to protect skins barrier. Additionally, the Protease Technology in the accént™ products combine ficin (derived from figs), bromelain (derived from pineapple) and actinidia chinensis fruit extract (derived from kiwi) with a blend of advanced moisturizers including hyaluronic acid and amino acids. Now a recommended skincare regimen by dermatologists, accént™ products help to soothe and protect all skin types. Our Review of the accént™ Cleanser and Moisturizer : The awesome folks at accént™ sent me both their Cleansing Wash and Moisturizing Lotion to try for myself. The first thing I noticed was the fact that these bottles are very generously sized. I would think I could get about 6 months worth of use out of these products. (I tend to use only a small, pea-sized amount with most skin care products.) The next thing I noticed is that these products are, in fact, unscented. These formulations are also perfect for sensitive skin, since they're free of parabens and artificial fragrances. They're also non-drying, non-irritating, and (get this) they don't clog your pores! accént™ Cleansing Wash left my skin very clean and soft feeling, and it rinsed away very cleanly, without any greasy, icky residue. I love how well it lathers. A very little bit is all you need, since this product goes a long way! I also really love the Moisturizing Lotion. It has a nice, rich consistency that smooths onto the skin quite nicely. It absorbs rather quickly, and leaves behind no residues. All you feel is velvety soft, hydrated skin. Overall, I really like accént™ skin care. It is very effective, gentle, and works well with any skin type. This line is affordable, too, and would make great stocking stuffers for all the gals in your life, young and old! How to Connect : You can check out the awesomeness that is accént™skin care on their website. The accént™ products are available at CVS stores and online at drugstore.com. The accént™ Moisturizing Lotion is sold at a suggested retail price of $15.99 and the accént™ Cleansing Wash for a suggested retail price of $14.99. Enter to WIN : I am thrilled to announce that one lucky reader will receive both of these awesome products!
