I have to tell you, I am super-duper excited about my next Holiday Gift Guide Sponsor. After all, what would any Holiday wish list be without the wonderful products from Step2? First of all, they are one of my favorite companies to work with. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to communicate with. That should be no surprise, though, since Step2 is known for having stellar customer service. Next, Step2 is based out of North-Eastern Ohio, where I am originally from. I happen to love the great state of Ohio, and have to show some hometown pride! But the BEST thing about Step2? Their amazing products, of course! Step2 is celebrating their 20th year of bringing safe, durable, and imaginative products to families. I remember having Step2 products in my home as a child, and I have been a Step2 fan for most of my life. Step2 offers a wide range of products from great ride-on toys to outdoor playhouses and playgrounds, and they even carry wonderful products for indoor play! One of Sophie's favorites is the Step2 Art Desk Easel. She loves being able to sit down and color at her own special art station! We also love the Step2 Play Kitchens. They allow budding chefs to play house and do what they see Mommy doing in the kitchen every day! For your chance to win a Step2 Kitchen of your own, as well as a video camera and a chance at $5,000.00, check out the Big Imaginations Are Cooking Contest! You can submit your stories NOW, but hurry! 10 finalists will be chosen on November 23, 2011! As a part of my Holiday Gift Guide, I received a great new product from Step2, the Build & Store Block & Activity Table! This multipurpose table is the perfect play space for building, drawing, or any creative adventure your child can dream up. With lots of storage and removable block plates, it's also a perfect activity table. The really cool part? The removable block plates are compatible with both Legos and MEGA Blocks, making this great for the tiniest of builders and their bigger siblings alike! More great features of the Build & Store Block & Activity Table are:
When our Step2 Build & Store Block & Activity Table arrived, I couldn't wait to open it up and let Sophie play! Of course, I waited for Daddy to get home, as I am not at all mechanically inclined. While this table does require some adult assembly, it's actually very minimal, and my husband had it put together and ready to go within about 10 minutes. I suppose I probably could have done it myself, but why would I take the fun away from him? (Yes, he actually likes assembling things!) Once the table was together, I stood back and looked at it in wonder. Not only is the Build & Store Block & Activity Table very attractive, in bright, primary colors, it is also very efficiently designed. The work/play surface is generously sized, and can accommodate even the most elaborate of Lego or block creations. There is also abundant storage thanks to the many included accessories. There are 4 "cups" that fit right into the table surface. These cups are perfect for holding crayons, markets, colored pencils, or paintbrushes. There are also 4 roomy storage tubs that sit on shelves built into the table legs. These are ideal for holding blogs, Legos, craft supplies, Hot Wheels cars, or anything else your child's heart desires! Speaking of Legos, there are removable block plates that can be conveniently stored on the interior of the table legs. They're compatible with Legos and MEGA Blocks! They fit the table top perfectly, and when you switch activities, you can simply tuck the block plates away for safe keeping. If that wasn't enough, the table also comes complete with a sturdy little stool to give kids a comfortable place to sit while they create. I have to admit it, I was a little envious of my babies, since I didn't have such an awesome activity table when I was a kid! Sophie, my toddler, absolutely LOVES the Step2 Build & Store Block & Activity Table. The first thing she wanted to do? Play with her wooden blocks, of course! Here are some photos of Sophie's first experience with her brand new activity table: Now how fun is that?! Overall, I adore the Step2 Build & Store Block & Activity Table. I love the many features of the table, and I also love that the surface can be customized to the activity the child wants to do at the time. Want to draw or paint? Check! Time to build a Lego fort? Check! This great activity center will definitely help children to stay engaged while exploring their imaginations through creative play. This is also the perfect solution for families that are low on space, since all of the kids' supplies can easily be stored right at the table! It is incredibly durable and will withstand years of use (and abuse) from active kids. But from a company like Step2, would you expect anything less? In my home, and in millions of other homes, Step2 is synonymous with quality. For 20 years, they have been making the best quality children's toys around. I actually have a "Step2 Wish List." Check them out, and I am certain you will, too! BUY IT: You can purchase this and other fantastic products on the Step2 website. You can also check out their handy retail locator to find Step2 products near you! You can also follow Step2 on Facebook and on twitter to stay on top of their latest products and promotions! WIN IT: I am thrilled to announce that one of you will be receiving a Step2 Build & Store Block & Activity Table of your own during my Holiday Gift Guide event, hosted by myself and A Time Out For Mommy! How cool is that?! Please use this handy Rafflecopter form to enter! This giveaway will be open to US residents 18+ until 11:59 PM on November 28,2011. Winner will be chosen randomly and will be notified via e-mail as well as posted here, on twitter, and on Facebook. The winner will have 48 hours to reply and claim their prize before I am forced to draw another winner. ***Disclosure: I received a complimentary product to facilitate my review. No other compensation was provided, and all opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.***
