![]() With the Holidays rapidly approaching, parents are overwhelmed by all of the choices for their children's gifts. There are electronic gifts, plush animals, art supplies, books, and so many other products just begging to get onto a child's wish list. It is enough to make a mother's head spin! With a preteen, an infant, and a toddler in the house,I have a lot I need to keep up with regarding the Holidays. My oldest child has informed me very matter-of-factly that he is "too old for toys and wants gold, diamonds, and rare treasures." Sorry, bud...I don't see that happening this year unless I hit a lottery jackpot! For my baby and my toddler, gift giving is a bit easier. One thing I love, especially for younger kids, are more classic, educational toys. Especially wooden toys! I love toys that are interactive and hands on while still being simple enough in nature to stimulate my babies' minds with shapes and colors rather than flashing lights and noise. Sometimes simple really IS better! That's why I am thrilled to announce my first sponsor for my Holiday Gift Guide event, CP Toys! CP Toys is a division of Constructive Playthings. US Toy/Constructive Playthings is a family owned business serving loyal customers since 1953! They strive to inspire learning, creativity, and fun by offering a unique mix of high quality products with unparalleled play value for children. They also commit to never, ever selling any violent toys. This is something I appreciate as a parent very much. Yep, I am one of those "strict moms" who doesn't allow gun play, violent video games, movies, or television shows.(Not even violent cartoons!) You won't find any bloodied action figures in my home wielding gamma ray laser guns, and the most "violent" video games I will allow my kids to play are Mario and Pokemon. (And in Pokemon games, the defeated creatures "faint" rather than die.) I truly believe that kids should be allowed to be KIDS....without all of the violence and ugliness found in so many programs and toys geared towards children nowadays. So naturally, I love companies that believe in preserving the innocence and wonder that is naturally present in our children. Aside from being a company that adheres to promoting positive values, their selection of toys are amazing! They have so much to offer for kids of all ages, and each and every one of their products encourage imaginative play as well as hands on learning. Their toys are high quality, colorful, and are sure to become fast favorites for boys and girls alike! They have a ton of different product categories that are sure to address every area of interest. I particularly love their building toys, their musical toys, and their science and nature toys. They even have art supplies and toys for those budding Picasso's out there! CP Toys literally has it all! I was lucky enough to receive the 8 in 1 Activity Learning Cart for my review. This toy is geared towards older babies and toddlers, and offers a wide variety of educational activities for kids to engage in. There is an adorable "track" on top of the cart that has a duck, a car, and a train that can be moved along their respective tracks. This wooden cart also features an abacus for early math skills, teaches colors and shapes, and also has an awesome shape sorter with colorful wooden shapes that fit into the slots! Wait! There's more! There is also a neat sliding shape activity to help with hand-eye coordination as well as a 2-sided puzzle! I can assure you, your little ones will not get bored when playing with the 8 in 1 Activity Learning Cart! Take a look! ![]() Look, Mom! I'm walking! Our 8 in 1 Activity Learning Cart arrived very well packaged and comes in a colorful box that any kid would love to see come the Holidays. It does require adult assembly, but my husband had this put together in about 10 minutes. This cart is made of wood, making it incredibly durable and tough enough to withstand years of happy play. It is also very sturdy and will not tip over on a child. I absolutely love the bright colors and cheerful design of the cart. I also love the fact that it has a handle-bar that can be used by small children to push this wheeled cart around. My 9 month old son, Xander, is just starting to show interest in walking, and he was able to grab this bar and walk behind it! Now he cannot walk unassisted yet, and generally will coast along furniture. He has only taken 2 steps on his own, and promptly fell on his behind. So seeing him walk behind this rolling cart was quite a joy, and he was awfully excited by it, too! Just look at his face! He was laughing and shouting with glee at his newly found ability! Another thing I love about this cart is that there are so many different activities. From shape sorting to learning numbers and colors, there is always something to stimulate little minds. But my favorite thing about this product would have to be the overall design. This product features activities on the top as well as the sides of the cart. This allows my babies to play together without getting in each others way. This is a HUGE deal to me, as my toddler daughter, Sophie, does not like sharing. At all. Now she can use the shape sorter while Xander plays with the abacus, etc. HUGE brownie points to CP Toys for creating an interactive toy that BOTH of my babies can enjoy. Happy babies make for a very happy mama! Here are some photos of my babies playing together with the 8 in 1 Activity Learning Cart: Overall, I couldn't be more thrilled with a product. I love the 8 in 1 Activity Learning Cart from CP Toys. This great product is not only educational, it is also fun! My kids love this toy, and it definitely keeps them engaged. This classic toy is attractive enough to leave out, too! As a mom, I love CP Toys and everything that they stand for. They make fabulous products that any kid would be ecstatic to open for the Holidays. I know my children will enjoy their 8 in 1 Activity Learning Cart for years to come! That's why this product is a must have Holiday gift in my book! HOW TO CONNECT: You can check out the awesomeness that is CP Toys on their website.
