It's that time of year, everyone! The Holiday shopping season is upon us! (At least it is if you're like me and get an early start to avoid the mad rush of frazzled, last-minute shoppers in December!)

For the 2014 Holiday season, I will be featuring tons of great gift ideas for babies, kids, men, women, pets, and even for the person who has everything. We all have some of those on our gift lists, don't we? There will even be loads and loads of chances to win many of the gifts I am featuring. How cool is that?! You can check out my 2014 Holiday Gift Guide at any time from now till Christmas. Make sure to check often, as it will be growing by the day!

Today, I would love to introduce you to a really fun gift idea for the little people in your life. Pop Out Pets offer 3 vibrant, plush pals in one snuggly toy! These 3-in-1 plush animals come in a few great varieties, each featuring 3 animals from that habitat.
Available Pop Out Pets include:
  • Sea Life Savers: Features a Turtle, a Walrus, and a Dolphin
  • Jungle Life Defenders: Features a Parrot, a Tree Frog, and a Tree Monkey

There are also a couple NEW 4-in-1 Pop Out Pets, which are available for Holiday pre-order NOW. (These will ship on December 1, 2014.)
  • Wild Life Rescuers: Features a Blonde Bear, a Giraffe, a Gorilla, and a Leopard.
  • Farm Life Protectors: Features a Pig, a Hen, a Cow, and a Horse.
In addition to giving kids some truly beautiful new animal pals to play with, each Pop Out Pets purchase also helps to protect the environment and the animals of the world through charitable giving. Each toy supports different charities, each geared towards that particular theme.

The Jungle Life Defenders support charities that work to understand climate change, prevent deforestation, and rebuild habitats.

The Sea Life Savers support charities focused on using film, photography and media to educate and inspire people to save the oceans.

The Wild Life Rescuers support charities whose mission is to protect threatened and endangered wildlife from becoming extinct, and to stop illegal wildlife trade.

The Farm Life Protectors support charities that are increasing public awareness about the food we eat (factory farming), and how to engage in sustainable farming.

The awesome folks at Pop Out Pets sent us their Jungle Life Defenders and Sea Life Savers toys to check out for ourselves. The first things I noticed when these adorable plush pals arrived were how vibrant the colors are, as well as how unbelievably soft these animals are. Seriously, these are velvety soft, and just beg to be snuggled!

These animals are very simple to change-out, even for little hands. On each pet, there is an opening with velcro closures. To change the pets, all you need to do is open up the velcro, flip out the desired animal pal, and tuck the rest back into the body of the Pop Out Pet. Then, simply close the velcro, and you're ready to play!

Check out how many different animals are hidden within these Pop Out Pets. The Jungle Life Defenders are on the left, while the Sea Life Savers are on the right.

First, we have Peyton the Parrot and William the Walrus. How adorable are they?! The kids love these guys, and pretend that they're deep in the jungle and at sea on a pirate ship. Not to mention, I have fun with these characters, too. I walk around singing "I Am the Walrus" by The Beatles, just to annoy the kids and amuse myself. It works!

Next, we have Riley the Tree Frog and Taylor the Turtle. We happen to love both frogs and turtles in our home, so the kids were very excited to see these animals included in the mix. I just love the attention to detail shown in these animals. Just look at those red, froggy eyes and that sleek turtle shell!

Last but certainly not least, we have Tyler the Tree Monkey and Daisy the Dolphin. I have to admit, since monkeys are both kids' favorite animals, there has been a bit of fighting over our Jungle Life Defenders Pop Out Pet. Neither child seems to want to let the other play with it!

Daisy the Dolphin is pretty darn adorable, too! I love that cheerful face and those fins. She looks like she's ready to perform some aquatic acrobatics for all to enjoy, don't you agree?

To see just how quick and easy changing one Pop Out Pet animal to another is, take a look at this quick video trailer:
Overall, I absolutely love the Pop Out Pet concept. These toys are very well-made, snuggably-soft, and help children explore the animals in different habitats around the world. My children definitely enjoy being able to snuggle each animal as we search the web for more info about them. I turn this into a teaching opportunity, since I fully believe that incorporating educational activities into play time allows kids to become enthusiastic about learning new things.

I do wish that these came in a larger size option as well, as they would make great make-shift pillows for sleepovers or overnight trips to Grandma's house.

So if you're looking for a Holiday gift that is sure to bring huge smiles to little faces this Holiday season, definitely check out Pop Out Pets! Remember, your purchase also helps to save the environment through various charities!
