For the 2014 Holiday season, I will be featuring tons of great gift ideas for babies, kids, men, women, pets, and even for the person who has everything. We all have some of those on our gift lists, don't we? There will even be loads and loads of chances to win many of the gifts I am featuring. How cool is that?! You can check out my 2014 Holiday Gift Guide at any time from now till Christmas. Make sure to check often, as it will be growing by the day! Today, I have another great product for the home to share with you all. The Honeywell Filter Free Warm Moisture Humidifier, model HWM705B, is a must-have for any home. Whether you have respiratory issues due to cold or flu, or you have a baby in the home, a good humidifier is essential for maintaining good air quality, especially in the colder months. I tend to get pretty bad sinus issues during the cooler months, probably because we have the heat running, which dries our the air that circulates through our house. I have found that using a humidifier alleviates a lot of my sinus-related symptoms. Here are some of the features of this humidifier:
The Honeywell Filter Free Warm Moisture Humidifier is pretty darn awesome. It's easy to set up, and starts working immediately. It's easy to fill, and has a visual indicator so you know when more water needs to be added. There is also a medicine cup built in to the unit, which is great for essential oils or the menthol liquids that are so popular during cold and flu season. The tank is also incredibly simple to remove from the unit for filling or cleaning. It just lifts right off, and this can be done one-handed. (As you can see below. I had the tank in one hand and my camera in the other!) The best part of this humidifier? Well, other than the relieving moisture it adds to the dry air in my home, I would have to say I am a HUGE fan of the filter-free design. It seems that somehow, we forget to replace filters on ANYTHING in a timely manner. It's one of those "out of sight, out of mind" things. The fact that this warm moisture humidifier is filterless just earned the folks at Honeywell about a gazillion brownie points from me. Hooray for low-maintenance! Overall, we are definitely loving the Honeywell Filter Free Warm Moisture Humidifier. It's easy to operate, and is definitely effective at adding moisture to dry air. It has helped my sinus issues immensely, allowing me to actually breathe at night. This is especially true when I had some menthol to the medicine cup. If you're looking for a practical gift idea that will definitely improve the quality of the air in the home, I would absolutely recommend this product. It's convenient, effective, and incredibly low maintenance. Oh, and it has a sleek, modern look that will fit in well with many different decors. It just doesn't get much better than that! Connect With Honeywell : You can check out the awesomeness that is Honeywell on their website. They have LOADS of great products for your home! I especially LOVE the look of their WiFi thermostats! I would like the central vacuum system. This form, when I click on a link either goes blank or doesn't allow me to get back without closing the page. Anyways,I would love this. I've been sick for three months, waking up with a bloody nose every day. I suspect the air is too dry.
