Holiday Decor On A Budget With Oriental Trading

This year, we're celebrating our 2nd Christmas in a home that's truly ours. For some reason, being in a home that I own makes me really get more into the Holiday spirit. Our home is a century home built in 1924. It has tons of character, including loads of original fixtures and hardwood. Of course it also needs some updating, and that's where much of our extra money goes. So naturally, if I can find my Holiday decorations at budget-friendly prices, I am one happy gal. 

This year, I was thrilled to discover that Oriental Trading offers a wide variety of Holiday themed decorations at prices that won't break the bank. If you don't celebrate Christmas, there are plenty of other seasonal options available, too! I just love their line of winter-themed decor! 

The awesome folks at Oriental Trading sent me a few of their Christmas themed home decor products to try out for myself. This included a rustic, festive wreath, a poinsettia garland, a Santa accent pillow, and a set of 3 Holiday colored glass bottles. 

I immediately took these items into our formal living room. It's amazing how much just a few decorative items can do for a room! I placed the Santa pillow on one of our cream colored sofas. 

Apparently, our kitty, Pringles, approves of this placement. I seem to catch her napping next to Santa several times a day. I can't say I blame her much, since this pillow is very well made and comfy! 

I absolutely love the simplicity of these seasonal glass bottles. They come in a set of 3, and includes a red bottle, a green bottle, and a white bottle. These look fantastic on their own, or they can be used as a bud vase for real or faux flowers. 

The beautiful and rustic looking wreath we received looks right at home on our old wooden front door. I love the unique look of this wreath, and the red berries definitely make it pop! 

I added the poinsettia garland to the landing by our staircase for some added Holiday cheer. I think these items from Oriental Trading definitely set the mood for a very Merry Christmas, don't you agree? Now if only it were time to replace that God-awful, hideous wallpaper! That's scheduled for the spring, though. 

Overall, I am absolutely thrilled with my finds from Oriental Trading. These items are so pretty, and are super affordable. I always thought of this company as a party supply store, so I am absolutely delighted to learn that they also have great home decorating items! I would absolutely recommend checking them out for any of your party or decor needs. They have so many great products to choose from!
