![]() In August, we bought a wonderful old Century home in Ohio. (It was built in 1924, and has tons of character!) So we've been having a great time redecorating and remodeling, and truly making our new home our own. It's been quite the task, since it's very, very evident that a 90 year old woman who really liked ugly wall-paper used to live here. It's a work in progress, but we're getting there, slowly but surely! I am always on the lookout for unique home decor items that reflect our personal style and have some meaning. I am very sentimental, so I love having personalized items whenever possible. When I learned about the personalized family manifestos from Life Manifestos, I just knew I had to have one in my home. These personalized, inspirational pieces are stunning, and have such a positive message that I'd love my kids to see each and every day growing up. About Life Manifestos : Life Manifestos was born when New York Times bestselling writer Stephen Palmer discovered the Holstee company manifesto. Upon reading it, his first thought was, “That’s really cool. I’d love for my kids to grow up reading that.” Our Family Manifesto : The awesome folks at Life Manifestos sent us our very own personalized Family Manifesto. This poster measures 16" by 20", and is personalized our family's last name. It reads as follows: "We are best friends. In our home you are loved, wanted, appreciated, and cherished no matter what. You are safe to be vulnerable. To be silly. To vent your frustrations. To share your emotions, struggles, and embarrassments. We encourage you to dream big, and we do everything possible to make your dreams come true. We give you confidence to venture into the world and get knocked down. Come back to us. We comfort, heal, and strengthen you. And whisk you back out the door with a smile on your face, the dream glistening in your eyes, courage beating in your heart. We believe in you. We're on your team. In your corner. Your biggest fans. Cheering our hearts out for you to reach, strive, leave it all on the field, become who you were born to become. We are family: united, unbreakable, eternal." This poster is very high quality and durable, and it suitable for framing. We're having a gorgeous frame specially made, and this will hang in our formal living room once it arrives. I love the sentiment, the colors, and the beautiful fonts used in this family piece, and I know it will definitely be a piece of artwork that my kids will take comfort in seeing every day. I would definitely recommend Life Manifestos to anyone looking for beautiful yet heartfelt gifts and home decor items. We're proud to have such a lovely piece, and love that it embodies the definition of family. How to Connect : You can check out Life Manifestos on their website. You can get FREE personalization on your own Family Manifesto, a $10 value, by using the code UNITEDFAMILY at checkout! Enter to WIN ! I love that we all have a good time together and even though we don't tell each other we love them all the time, we know that we are loved without it being said. Plus, we can have fun and cut up since we all have the same sarcastic sense if humor! :)

We are a very close family. Our children were given an open path. They knew they could talk to us about anything, and we wouldn't judge. If they needed us after a party needing a ride home at 2:00 etc. we would listen and not be mad. I would rather pick them up at 2 than them get in trouble or be worried about us being upset.I didn't tolerate lying. yes I might be mad that something happened, but they knew they would really be in trouble if they lied.

I have the best mother ever, she is the strongest women that I've ever known, she raised 7 kids one of them with down's syndrome, took care of her just like a baby until she passed away at age 31, my mom has severe diabetes, had kidney failure and 9 months of dia's, had kidney transplant in 2000 and suffered 2 strokes, feel broke her hip and still gets up and dresses every day, I sure want to be more like my mom

My son is 23 and still likes for me to go with him when he runs errands (he hates this task)! I love to have this time with him just to chat and do a crossword and catch up on what he is up to!

My son took care of me and my husband for almost 3 years, while we were trying to get our disability. I'm so proud of him and thankful God gave me great children.
