***Disclosure: I received complimentary samples to facilitate my review. No other compensation was given. All opinions are 100% honest and have not been influenced in any way.*** I hate to admit it, but my body didn't bounce right back after having kids. Although I do have a friend who has a baby and shows absolutely no evidence of having ever been pregnant...Oh, and she is a size 0. And gorgeous. Yeah, I don't think she's human, either! Anyway, I was not as lucky as my friend. I have had 3 c-sections, 2 of which were only 12 months apart. This has definitely have made it a challenge to get rid of that nasty belly pooch that goes hand and hand with childbearing and pregnancy. So when I got the opportunity to review the Healthy, Fit, Happy Mom DVD series by Dr. Zelana Montminy, I jumped at the chance. After all, any workout routines that are specifically designed for those of us who have had children are bound to be worth trying. I get so tired of seeing nothing but 18 year old, boppy fitness models who have never experienced the changes that occur during (and after) pregnancy. Sure, they may offer a great workout, but to a 32 year old mom of 3, they're just not relatable. I have real body issues that only another Mom could truly understand! The Healthy, Fit, Happy Mom series is comprised of 3 DVD's, each of which addresses a particular "phase" of motherhood and fitness. Here is more info about each volume. About the Series :DVD 1: Prenatal Exercise Routines, Workouts, to Tone and Firm Your Body Pregnancy can be tough. Anyone who has experienced it knows this firsthand! Continuing to exercise and eating well is essential not only for the budding baby, but for your mental, physical and spiritual well being as a new mom. “Healthy, Fit, Happy Mom: Volume 1” is a compilation of three workouts, one for each trimester, with simple healthy tips and recipes to help nourish you and your baby’s body. All of the exercises use just your body-weight, so there is no equipment needed. With modifications and progressions to match any personal level of fitness, this program is for anyone! Grab a bottle of water and get moving! Here's to your healthy pregnancy! DVD 2: Post Pregnancy Exercise Routines Congratulations on the birth of your baby! The first few weeks of motherhood bring new and exciting challenges that leave exercise on the back burner. Once your baby is 6 weeks old and with your doctors permission, it's time to bring exercise back into your life to get your body back in share once again. "Healthy, Fit, Happy Mom: Volume 2" guides you there in a safe manageable way. Similar to "Healthy, Fit, Happy Mom: Volume 1," we use body weight as resistance for easy-to-do workouts that can be done anywhere. Focusing on cardio an abdominal work, you will strengthen and flatten your stomach to achieve an overall leaner and more toned you. From the comfort of your own home, it's now easy and convenient to get your body back into shape! DVD 3: Post Pregnancy-Step It Up "Healthy, Fit, Happy Mom: Volume 3" will build on what you have accomplished in Volume 2 and push you to the next level of fitness! You will work your entire body with simple movements that are geared to tone and sculpt! Dr. Zelana Motminy, a Doctor in Psychology, has a unique fusion of expertise in the areas of psychology, health, and the media. Her focus in positive health, an emerging field that uses positive psychology to promote a lifestyle of nutrition and fitness, has been shared with millions of viewers on the PopSugar Network. Dr. Z has shared the stage with leading health and fitness experts including Dr. Oz, Jane Fonda, Dr. Drew Weil, and Bob Harper and now with "Healthy, Fit, Happy Mom," she will share the stage with you! Overall, I am loving this series. Not only are the routines easy to follow, and I am definitely not a fitness buff, they are also led in a very positive way. The series addresses overall well-being, not just physical fitness. It also offers some great tips on healthy eating and nutrition! I would definitely recommend this series to any new or expectant moms who would love to get fit and healthy! How to Connect :

I have been looking into these dvds. I am thinking of making a purchase as I'm expecting my second child, but was wondering if you can tell me how long the workouts are. Thanks for the great review!
