My poor family is in for a rude awakening this winter. You see, we just moved from Virginia -which doesn't get overly frigid and the mere mention of snow sends people into a panic and makes them raid the grocery stores- to my home state of Ohio, where it gets bitterly cold and snow is so common that schools rarely close at all. (Yes, my stories of "I walked to school, up hill, in 3 feet of snow..." will finally be understood and appreciated by my kids!)

While we are incredibly thrilled to call NE Ohio our home, the one thing I am definitely not looking forward to is the extreme cold. Mix that with lake-effect winds, and you end up with chapped lips and dry, cracking skin. Not fun at all. Especially for the little ones! My kids have the annoying habit of licking cracked, chapped lips constantly, which only makes the problem much, much worse.

So when I got the chance to try Aquaphor by Eucerin, I was definitely pretty stoked. I have heard wonderful things about the brand, and have used their baby products before. I was sent the Lip Repair + Protect as well as the Healing Ointment.

These products are amazing, because not only do they ease the pain discomfort associated with winter chapping and cracking through providing desperately needed moisture, they also go to work to heal the problem. This is great, since I stay far too busy to let chapped lips and dry, cracked skin get me down!

You can check out the awesomeness that is Aquaphor on their website.

You can also connect with them on Facebook and on twitter to stay on top of their latest products and promotions!

WIN IT !

Have you tried Aquaphor yet? If not, I have a great opportunity for you to become acquainted!

I am thrilled to announce that one lucky reader will receive an Aquaphor Prize Package including:

Aquaphor Lip Repair + Protect
Aquaphor Healing Ointment
$50 Visa Gift Card

How cool is that?!
