Have You Checked Out DragonBlogger.com?

Oscar night is almost here! It seems that everywhere I look, people are talking about the movies they expect to win awards, directors and movie-stars, and of course, the speculation about the fashions that might turn up on the red carpet. (Come on....Admit it...You watch the awards specifically to see red carpet action, right? Or is that just me?)

Anyway, since I don't watch a ton of movies, I usually check out online reviews. I do this for a few reasons. First, it allows me to see if a film may not be appropriate for my kids. Also, checking out reviews also allows me to decide if I want to spend money to see a movie in theaters, or if I am better off waiting till it's released on DVD. But this time of year, I check out reviews most often so I don't look like a complete fool while finding myself stuck in conversations surrounding Oscar hopefuls that I know nothing about.

One of the best places to find very detailed entertainment reviews is DragonBlogger.com. This site has basically anything you'd like to find that is entertainment or tech-related. By browsing DragonBlogger, I have decided that I made the right choice waiting to see Les Miserables rather than rushing to the theater. Yes, I understand that this movie was incredibly well-received by critics, but it looks just a tad bit cheesy for my tastes.

Yes, there is even a huge section devoted to gaming, which my husband absolutely loves. He can check out what others have to say about all the new games he's interested in. I can also learn more about games my teen wants to play, such as rating and content, before I agree to let him play them.
