Now that warmer weather is finally with us for a few glorious months, one thing that becomes a wardrobe staple for me are cute, casual dresses. I wear flirty, summery sundresses almost exclusively during the summer months. Well, now that I am done being a baby incubator and have lost the majority of the extra weight, I do. A year ago...Heck, even 5 years ago I wouldn't have had the confidence to wear dresses at all. It's amazing what a 50lb difference in weight can do for one's self-esteem! I'm not exactly where I want to be as far as my body goes, but I am now comfortable enough to break out the cute little dresses I have always wished I could wear. Maybe in another 20lbs or so I will be brave enough to try a bikini, but for now, dresses will do!
I recently discovered a fabulous online store that carries a gigantic selection of trendy and affordable Juniors clothing. Go Jane is literally a one-stop shop for all of your summer wardrobe needs. They have tons of adorable tops and tanks, cute bottoms, and even swimwear! And let's not forget about the dresses! Go Jane offers hundreds of fun, feminine dresses that are perfect for a lazy day at the park or even a night out dancing, if you're able to escape the kids for an evening! From casual to dressy, Go Jane has something to suit every style perfectly.
Here are some of my personal favorites from Go Jane!
So as you can see, Go Jane knows fashion. Think these dresses are cute? You should check out the rest of their many, many casual dresses. I have about 50 of them on my wish list. Seriously. I think a girl can never have too many great dresses!
For my review, I was lucky enough to receive the Slouchy Asymmetrical Dress in Blue. Asymmetrical styles are very in right now, and I love the one-shoulder look. This dress arrived to me with lightning quickness, too! I absolutely love the super-soft Viscose-Spandex blend used to make this wonderful dress. It has a bit of stretch to it, and feels silky soft and just caresses the skin. The fabric is also lighter-weight and is perfect for a rendezvous on a hot, summer night. I ordered a large after consulting the Go Jane size chart, thinking I would need this to accommodate my chest. I am a bustier gal, and often have to size up when ordering dresses. This may have been a mistake, as it made the dress just a bit too big. I had to literally alter it to keep it from falling off! This was my error in sizing, though, and reflects absolutely nothing about the quality of the garment. So if it looks a bit different on me than in the model at the top of the page, it's because I had to take it in slightly to keep it on. (And because I generally wear a size 8 rather than the 0-2 that most models wear.) It still looks and feels great, though, and I am very happy with the quality of this super-sexy dress. I just can't wait until the hubby and I have a chance to go out for dinner or drinks. He loves this dress on me, and I just know it will turn some heads!
Overall, I LOVE my dress from Go Jane! It is comfortable, flirty, and makes my husband drool. It just doesn't get much better than that! I have spent hours looking at the awesome selection at Go Jane, and this has become one of my favorite places to get fun, trendy clothing. Just because I'm a mom doesn't mean I have to break out the Mom Jeans and sacrifice my style. Go Jane offers a ton of beautiful summer options that even real women with curves can wear confidently, all without breaking the bank! So if you haven't checked out Go Jane, head on over and see what they have to offer! I am willing to bet you'll find some summer staples for yourself!
You can order this and many other awesome styles on the Go Jane website.
