Back to School season is in full swing. For parents, that means a lot of scrambling to make sure their kids have all of the supplies, clothing, and gear they will need to have a successful start to a new academic year.

For parents of teens, this might also mean dealing with kids who may be embarrassed to return to school because their hormones have taken over and acne has reared its ugly head. I remember those years, don't you? There's nothing worse than being an awkward teen, walking into the school and feeling like all eyes are on your face, but not for the right reasons. Confidence is so important, especially for teens. They want to feel like they fit in, and let's face it, no one wants to be bullied.

My 15 year old, Kyle, will be a Sophomore this year. How is that even possible?! Anyway, Kyle definitely shows a lot of concern about his complexion. He tends to get breakouts on his face, back, and chest, and he is very self-conscious about it. I want him to be able to put his best face forward as he starts the new school year, so I decided to give him the gift of Exposed Skin Care.
Exposed Skin Care was founded in Seattle, Wa in 2002 to bring you a truly revolutionary line of skin care products, guaranteed to clear your acne-prone skin within 30 days.  Exposed combines the power of advanced science with the soothing properties of pure natural extracts, to bring you skin that is not only clear, but also healthy and balanced.  Exposed targets all 4 causes of acne by unclogging pores, killing acne causing bacteria, regulating oil, and calming redness.

WHAT SETS EXPOSED SKIN CARE APART?

Developed by a collaborative effort of dermatologists, cosmetologists, naturopaths, and chemists, Exposed Skin Care is the only product line of its kind.  This combination of skin care professionals working together for the first time resulted in a unique and revolutionary skin care approach that not only treats the acne, but also proactively prevents new acne from forming.  With the synergy of clinical strength actives and calming spa quality natural ingredients, Exposed combines the acne eliminating strength of Benzoyl Peroxide and Salicylic Acid, with the soothing properties of Green Tea, Licorice Root, and Passion Flower.  This truly unique combination will not only heal your acne, but will also leave you with the confidence knowing you have the beautiful, healthy, glowing skin you have always desired.

We received a nice assortment of Exposed Skin Care products to try out for ourselves. Kyle uses them, of course, but I have been using them as well. I don't get many breakouts, but around a certain time of the month, I have found that a few annoying pimples tend to make an appearance. Isn't 34 too old for that?!

Anyway, Exposed Skin Care offers loads of gentle, skin clearing products for the whole body.

Have facial breakouts? There are loads of products to choose from, from the Facial Cleanser to Clearing Tonic to Clear Pore Serum and Moisture Complex, just to name a few. They also offer a great Acne Treatment  Serum to fight those extra stubborn zits. These products can be found in the Exposed Skin Care Ultimate Kit. They even include a special Derm-X Cloth to help apply these products.

Body breakouts? Well, the folks at Exposed Skin Care have you covered there, too.

Actually, they have a unique approach to fight acne from the inside out! They offer a Probiotic Complex Skin Balancing Supplement that helps promote clear, healthy skin on a cellular level. This supplement contains an assortment of vitamins, minerals, and natural extracts that give you nutrients that your body and skin crave. Beauty comes from within, after all. Wink, wink.

For a more traditional treatment for body breakouts, Exposed Skin Care offers a fantastic body wash. My son absolutely LOVES this product, and has noticed a remarkable decrease in his dreaded "Backne", as he calls it. It lathers nicely, rinses away cleanly, and leaves behind skin that is residue-free and soft.

Kyle has been hogging most of these products, but these last 2? I kept them for myself. It's no secret that I am a bit of a beauty junkie, so when I saw the Microderm Scrub and Clarifying Mask, I kept those babies all to myself.

These products have worked wonders to help clear up those pesky, PMS-related pimples. I love the fact that they work well while remaining gentle. They don't dry the skin, and I have suffered no irritation whatsoever. I think this is due to those lovely natural, skin-soothing extracts! Nature meets science in the best way possible with Exposed Skin Care!

Is your teen ready for the new school year? Do they have problem acne that affects their self-esteem? Or maybe you suffer from acne, yourself?

I urge you to give Exposed Skin Care a try. (And I don't use the word urge lightly!) These products work very well, and quickly, too. My son and I both experienced noticeable results in just a few days.

Trying this system is risk-free, too! Exposed Skin Care actually offers the best guarantee in the skin care industry. If you are unhappy with your Exposed Skin Care Kit purchase for ANY reason, you can return it for up to a YEAR. That's right. They don't offer the standard 30 or 60 day money back guarantee. These folks are so confident you'll love your beautiful, clear skin, they are offering a 12 month guarantee!

I don't really have any skin care tips. I was hoping to get some good tips from previous comments. I have to look more into skin tips for myself (:

My best skincare tips are to make sure you never go to sleep without washing your face and constantly change your pillowcases. I've noticed a huge difference in breakouts by changing my pillowcase every few days. I just always grab extra when I see them on clearance or a great sale so I'm not constantly doing laundry.

Drink lots of water and eat healthy foods. What you put into your body is what you get out of it!

Never go to sleep without washing your face! If wearing makeup, make sure you wash your face before putting it on.

I always tell my kids to not go to bed with a dirty face! My boys like the oxy wipes, they keep them by their bed.

What my mom suggest to always take off your makeup off at night to avoid wrinkles. I also read up on that as well from a friend.

My best tip is pretty simple. Wash and moisturize your face when you wake up and before you go to bed. Make sure all makeup is off. Thanks for this opportunity!
